I think it is just a weird game bug, I've noticed it for a while.
Here's my idea...
Oscar Harrison jumped the boards too early for a line change and while you had 6 players on the ice, your team scored.
You're lucky you didn't get a too many men penalty.

Mr. +1 was the extra attacker with the goalie pulled. I misspoke when I said EN goal.
Charwinger - is Harrison your top Off rated player outside of your 3rd line?
nope. his OFf rating is a good 20 lower than Joel Tessier's (although the extra attacker thing makes sense)
Nicolas Bastien (2nd line) and Taylor Greenwood (3rd line) also both have a higher OFF rating than him.
Thanks for that. There was another thread asking about who hops on the ice when you have an extra attacker. All the input said that it was C1, but also the player with the highest Off.

Nope, definitely C1. ET has 609, JT has 585, Nicolas Bastien has 561, and Oscar Harrison only has 559.
probably C2 then. (just a guess though)
Ya. I'm starting to think that I need alot more tech in my defense. these penalties are killing me.
getting the same feeling about my team's shooting after the last game.
