Well, the end of the season i was playing my other goalie more anyways. I was going to sell him probably within the month before his C/L and value got too low (he is 21 and 3/6). I got a backup with better stats and 2 years younger so i had already decided he will be the starter for whatever league i'll play in next year, probably II.2 again.
some things never change. Sometimes I feel like I'm never going to make it to 1.I. I was really hoping this would be my breakout year.

Ya. I forsee some similar problems for my team, so I'm trying to dish off some of my expensive staff members.
I guess the staff members are just too expensive to maintain (earlier in the season it was because of a loan, but now the staff costs went up a bit as a few of them got new contracts)

Ouch. What is your weekly money in compared to your weekly money out? Normally sponsor cash is enough just to break even weekly.
it used to be enough to make a fair profit, but the sudden jump in staff salaries cut out all of the profit, and from the looks of it during the playoffs I'm losing about 1 mil per week (haven't done in depth calculations, so I might be off by a bit)
1,484,031 out per day, with 844,800 ticket sales, 75,410 souvenir sales, 6,560,929 general sponsor, 722,973 television (should go up a lot next season), and 61,015 skyboxes
edit: ticket sales should also go up next season.
By my math looks like you're losing 2mil/week assuming that your ticket sales are for the week and not twice a week.
PS to reduce the cost of your staff keep their attributes balanced. If Atty_X > Atty_Y their salary is much higher then if they are of the same OR but balanced attributes.
I know, but certain staff members I only need one of their attributes, so it is a waste of time to train both.
