Time for my keeper this round.

Haha SOs are nice. Whenever my goalies get one they get overlooked. Daily all-stars just make me frustrated... then again... this season hockey in general makes me frustrated lol

Not much talk??? I will be starting to build the final level of my training center within the next couple of weeks.

Are we going to see Tony Ripley hit the market in the next few days?

Ripley will be going up soon. If someone will offer 100M$, i will him up now. My penalty is still up at 13-15%.

Sustain free agents? My oldest starting player is 23 and he will be gone in 1-2 seasons.

Tierney will be there some day. Hope you save the cash to hold onto him...

I think the cavaelen (Razorbacks) is out as a potential buyer. He just dropped 220Mil on a Swedish keeper.

I like my Ripley, he's almost at 50exp. I will have another 200-100-100 keeper in a couple of weeks.

just wondering, how is your team built?
i mean, where do you get your players?
there are three possible sources: original, market, and sports academy
for me, 9/30 are my original season 1 roster,
12/30 are from the market,
and 9/30 are from sports academy
ironically.. when i look at my lineup,
7/17 are from season 1 roster,
3/17 are from market,
and 7/17 are from sports academy
this means 7/9 originals are in lineup,
3/12 for the market,
and 7/9 for the sports academy.
This leads me to conclude.. that is it actually worth spending big $$ at the market? Or am i just too stingy to spend $$ to actually get some impact players?

I don't have many originals... but I have a bunch from season 1 (pulled or bought). Most of my players are from within my own facilities/team but I have made some purchases. The purchases (outside of 1-2 players) were all project guys bought cheap who I trained for 3+ seasons to make them good enough to crack the lineup.

This is currently what I am doing. I am sacrificing my team strengths to go with a full Canadian line up. I am almost there. I have many young up and comers on my team, a blend of academy and market players. But besides my goalies, I have never spent more than a mil on a player. But that's a big reason my strength is where it's at instead of all cappin over 50s. If it means anything to ya coming fro a lowly league III scrub

I went straight market to achieve success faster. But at the expense of my national pride. My united nations team has now become only 8 foreign players (one of which is on the market) out of 37. Not too shabby. And I have seen buying up Canucks and Saints castaways! And just a mix of players from here or there.
