isn't it a tough cycle? we don't have enough money to do anything, not doing anything keeps the team more or less the same, our team continues to loss, but doesn't suck enough to get relegated, we end up with low paying sponsor again (in comparison to our expenses)
You can break the cycle. But you may not like how...
This is like being a middle of the pack team in the NHL.
Not bad enough for good draft picks, not good enough for playoffs.

i know i could, i just don't like the idea of losing on purpose to demote and then promote. it goes against my integrity d:
You dont have to necessarily have to lose on purpose. Just sell your aging players and replace with young potential. Then you will earnestly suck enough to relegate

well, my "young potential" players are going to be about as good at my "aging players" by the time the "young potentials" reach "aging players"' age. (and as a side note, i feel that many managers over value the young potentials. looking at the cl path, 23 +/- 2 seems to be the age when the players hit their peak, but i see many managers looking at these players as too "old"
considering this, what my "aging players" can fetch me in market isn't worth what they can do for my team imho

Sad to see a young star leave the team. Donnell Cherry will be packing his bags shortly. We hope he stays in Canada.
