Virtual On-line manager game is really not the right place for some serious real-life issues, IMHO.

Scouted them, and then you can just hope. IRL example Teemu Selänne, he's CL is now max 2/6 or less, you have to trust that he's CL don,t drop, but it can never know - quite nice, i think. Here you have to hope the best, and decide will you believe what you see in chat.

I don't talk about myself. For myself I have an excel spreadsheet with a date for a lot of players. Players that tend to be 18yo 6/6 tends to not drop to 3/6 till 25-26yo which is great for training. I have a lot of info on such great players, so I don't fear for myself, but for others who doesn't have that info...

As the NY Rangers contracted P.Bure and payed him 10 Mio a year, they hoped to have the best goalscorer on ice, but they also feared that he will be injured again. The history: he played only 51 games in two seasons and quit with only 32 years. Similar story with E.Lindros (quit with 34)

So the point is: you cant know how long a player will play and how he will perform in your team, thats the risk which every manager has to take, no matter how much money the player costs and thats ok. We as manager can be happy that there are no injuries on PPM which forces a player to quit with 22 years (but that would be realistic and would force some manager to think about a 300 Mio deal)

What are you talking about? You already know the career longevity of any player you scouted. No to mention that you know the career in the past of all your players.
You are now talking about Bure and Lindros. Their teams didn't know his career longevity but you know the career of your best player, isn't it? You know that Wichert will hit 2/6 with 29-30 years old. Why you should only know this and not also others?
So, if you want to match the reality than career longevity should be also hidden for owners of the players, isn't it?

if i understood you right, you want to see the players career longevity after you scouted him while he is playing for other team. That would mean that you have all informations about this player when he comes on market. If that is what you want, so you should know what i am talking about and see that the Bure, Lindros example shows that you are demanding too much. If that is what you want to know, so lets demand an information about his (the scouted player) next 3 years if he comes to you. maybe how much goals he will score, what date and how long he will be injuried, his exactly training progress for the next 3 years etc.


If you mean to get the Full CL information of a scouted player AFTER you bought him, so forget everything i said.

maybe we should think about it. dont get me wrong but I think you dont like the fact to have something not under your control or to have something you cant calculate.

BTW why do you talk about Wicherts CL on Forum i wanted to sell him and dont say the truth about his CL

This really doesn't concern me because I have a huge excel file of all good players and their longevity over seasons, so actually it is not something hidden if you have enough time and will to track it. So after all there is no Bure or Lindros for me
I'm mostly pointing that people tend to lie on players' chat or in private messages and this is not something good. It really pisses me off

No, my friend i think it does concern you, because you would like to have a bigger excel file. To see the CL would make it easier for you,but a lie would influence your huge excel file. Something you trust in, would get something like a virus (=lie). and then you could get a Bure or Lindros
The world is full of lies you cant really do anything against it.

I belive this discussion is useless.
As I read some time ago on PPM Magazine, the CL calculation has changed and there are no guarantees about how it will progress. I do have an excel file myself, but cannot trust it 100% after that (actually had a huge surprise when one of my centers did not drop this season even if all other players went in the right direction, dropping or staying on the same level as expected). I understand that a player could stay on one of the levels up to 10 seasons (good I guess), but also that it can be a perfect one on 18 yo and from then on to go straight down based on injuries and other "exterior" influences... Or I might be wrong
