I think we are better off not knowing. There was another sim game I heard about a few years back. It got really realistic in that it told you how someone was feeling that day. One guy logged in to find his player was feeling well...because he had been hit by a bus.
I just go with the assumption that they got injured in practice. That way I don't think my players are complete idiots who get hurt sneezing or buttering toast.
Court surface quality
. Improving the court surface quality "CONTRIBUTES TO THE HIGHER STANDARD OF PLAY," which will draw more people to the arena.
Could it be possible that this "higher standard" effects the quality / OR of potential recruits? Meaning it may increase the odds of a higher OR recruit?
Or does this simply mean what i have always assumed it meant, the home field advantage is a bit stronger?
I think those will only draw more people on the arena as is stated in the guide:
"Other arena upgrades include car park, scoreboard, lighting and sound and the court surface quality can also be improved. All of these improvements help increase the attendance."
I thought Team Strength was based on who you were fielding during league matches. So, how come my team strength is so significantly higher (a full 3 points) right now when my 1st string and 4th stringers are in game than it was start of last season when my 1st string and 2nd string players were in? Somehow that does not seem right. Wouldn't the unplayed, undersized, and untrained newbies i am using for back ups drag the numbers down more than the first stringers have improved?
I agree they would be better than last season. However, I am also playing freshly promoted YS graduates for the back ups who are too short for their position and do not have skills trained for their positions. I would think there would be an offset. But, I guess not.
