I've noticed that too ! I've expected to gain some exp, more than in a league game !
I disagree there, just like in real life playing in champions league brings income

income of tickets and bigger QTR are inaff, in real life there isnt any OTR so u cant campare that. in this game OTR is most imortant thing and that is stupid way to increase it with losing matches
it compensates prizemoney for internat. cups ...
winning internationally gives you bonusses per match, here it doesn't, so it is comparable... (here it's with OTR) and later on with sponsors (based on OTR and other factors)

in normal conditions where random is minimal i would never complain for that, but here is random to big and best clubs dont play CWC and CL, the most fortunate clubs are there because game engine is bad and random is minimaly 60%
60% random is rather big, I'd say 30% perhaps, and that's huge

If the "better" team won every time like clockwork no one would play and this game would become a boring math sim.
The complaint about random is just people who can't stand not having every cookie in the box, get over it - you win more than you lose and sometimes other people win more than you do. If you can't get past the simple stuff life is going to be very unforgiving to you outside of the internet.

how the hell did you win the league title 3 times in a row with pure luck? This game really has no logic

it is not problem to lose match against weak club, it happends in real life regularly but this game sistem is bad because club future depeds about quarterfinal cup and playoff games where to big random can ruin your club to much although u have better club and u win all till that games.
I just agreed about random being there, not as much as stated though (at least I think)

The team with the best players on the paper doesnt always win. Since this is a game, they have to add random to simulate that.
For instance, Coyotes are 4th in the league in the NHL right now, on the 23rd november 2009 they lost against oilers, who are placed last in the league at the moment, with 0-4.

i win it becauce my good managment, and because random god was on my side in first season when i played nacional cup final and qualified in CWC and gain big OTR. in that season random god wasnt so good to me in leauce and he left me ind third division one more season because i lose in playoff quarterfinal from 90% weaker club. next year wasnt problem to win leauge again in that easy competition.
such things could also happen in RL... and this could also happen more than once... so where would this game go if success could be guaranteed with a good team?
dont talk me abut NHL, we all know very well that difference beetween the best and the worst club there is at the most 30%. all clubs have best hockey players in the world and there any result cant be called surprise.
