If you can afford it, then do it differently. I'm trying to save some money here But it's not important playoffs for everybody. Only four teams survive the first round. You can even wait until after round 2 or the Finals to start the camps if you don't mind them spilling over into next season.

The 6 games early in the season might all be loses. That's true, and it might hurt if you're playing for the regular season title, trying to squeeze into the playoffs, or looking to avoid relegation. But for anyone else who needs to save money, I think it's a good deal. Plus, most people are sending their young top trainers to camp. There will be some older starters who remain in the lineup. Go with 3 lines and increase intensity a bit and you might steal some points.

I keep them around. Hard to judge. Though 15 days on the injured list is 15+ OR lost... takes a long time to make up for that with better coaches...

I once got rid of my Physicians and went a few weeks without any major injuries. I think i was averaging two short term injuries every two weeks before dropping the doctors. I had two injuries in I think it was 18 or 19 days. Then had several pile up at once. I immediately caved and bought some Physicians around 40/40 or 50/50. That seems to be enough to slow down the injury train and they don't cost too much.

If my Med Center ever reaches level 13, I might have another go without Physicians. Or maybe I'll do it earlier if I'm bored

Oh, look at that. I only have one Physician right now. I'm not sure how long it's been this way Med Center is level 10 and Physician is 43/40. I've had 4 injuries in the last month. The longest was 6 days. One injury per week. That's pretty typical for me when I've had two Physicians.

Anyone knows, in the end of the season when is the best day to sell players, I'm selling all my none canadian players!!! I know every Wednesday the pay comes in, but I was thinking that the end of year bonuses are a good time to sell. One more thing what time during the day is the best time to get the most money??

If you know CL is going to drop (4 years max at current CL) then sell now. If you know it's going to stay the same (only 1 year at current CL) then sell at the beginning of next season. Otherwise, use your best judgment.

Sorry, "years" in that post should actually be "seasons".

For me I've started carrying some Manager's for the purpose of sponsors all year round.

The cost to buy off market, and then dispose of the manager, was higher than the cost to carry him all year.

Also, managers have a slight impact on souvenir sales at the fan shop (I think).

As for Physicians, I should probably fire some, but I seem to always have at least 1 player injured, and if it is a star, I'm toast.

Maybe I'll fire my Physicians soon.


Hmmm.... turns out I'm carrying a manager with 100k a day expense who retires before he gets a chance to help with my sponsors....

Ya I do the same re: carrying sponsors year round. I have one who retires in a month or so. I'll axe him after my sponsor deals come through then sign a new guy half-way into the season when they're cheap.

How will the extra promotions work? Is it only the best teams in IV that will replace the no-names in III, or will the best teams in III also replace the no-names in II and the best team left in II replace The cKs?

I think they only reshuffle the bottom two league levels.

How about for teams that are due to demote? Do they end up staying in the league they are currently, or sent down first then shuffled back up (assuming they do move back up. Could be they stay down and others get a chance to move up one?)

As in I and II both get left alone, or as in teams from IV and III will move up into III and II?
