Hi all! I've decided this season is right to try for a U17 world cup hosting bid. I know the U20s were successful a few seasons back and I'd like to try the same for the U17s. Any help or thoughts with this would be much appreciated!
Anyone interested? Old or new managers welcome!

Happy to provide advice and if no-one else whats to do it, happy to be on bid team.
The people on the successful bid team get credits so if other people want to put in the work, I'm happy to let them.

2 for 2 is a great record! Would be glad to add you to bid team!
Any tips for making the bids so successful? I think we can add older stadiums from past giant Aussie teams, so we should be able to get all max stadiums...

Technically, it's 2 out of 3. When I was managing the U17s, I put in a bid for season 13 which was more a curiosity bid to see what was involved. I got one vote, me
In my view, you need three things for a successful bid, two of which require a bit of work:
1. You need to look like you know what you're doing, decent poster and logo, respectable set of stadia ideally all 80,000. Last time, we used old stadia to bolster the numbers and no-one complained.
2. You need to do a bit of campaigning. Work out reasons why other people should vote for us, put them in the pitch document and in the voting period, contact all the international managers (except the other ones with bids) and ask them to vote for you personally.
3. You need a bit of luck. If someone else puts in a strong bid at the same time, it makes life more difficult.

yeah,
that was just try and see, mate!
U didn't really tried
Well, if some of our managers will send msg around we could get there easily. I remember someone last time send few mails to other managers of NT's and that worked magic..
U get decent amount of credits, I just don't wanna be part if I don't do anything. As crico done couple of great bids, I would put him on team, plus he is happy to be part of. As far as I know, there could be at least 4 ppl.
to DO list:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
* logo
* mascot
* written application WHY (gr8 reasons)
* send few mails to other managers to increase it chance (even could choose some of NT managers who'd like to make some NT competition - or did unsuccessfully last season - with their team and to promise them support on another occassion they will need (as some of them plan to do another season again)
to Malikas:
* when is the due date?
* putting crico on the team is huge bonus, I strongly suggest to do that, he knows and succesfully done 2 out of 2 as the only manager here
I have an idea of sketch for logo/mascot. Will look at it during next 29hrs, if I have enough time to do, but I prefer others to get on the team.. BF looks like he is interested
It is due on day 84...so over 2 1/2 months away!
I just wanted to get things started early, since I haven't done it before...
Added Crico, and there is room for 2 more...
I've also added all the stadiums!
Batigoal has helped arrange a logo and mascot! All that is left are the written application and asking managers for support (best done in the voting period).
Well our bid is complete!
The only thing left is to message other managers during the voting period. A lot depends on how many other bids there are, and the quality of those bids.
I'm pretty happy with how ours turned out so far.
