The soccer update on Monday mourning won't give enough time for teams playing the Champions League (and CWC) qualifier to prepare its squad to play for such an important match just a few hours (to be optimistic) after the update

I have the same problem, I already made this post as a reaction on the news today so I'm just going to copy-paste:

"This is ridicoulus, my players are on a camp till monday and now (5 days before) they say one of my most important matches (qualify for CL) is on monday, what a huge communication error by the devellopers, they should have said this earlier.

I even wanted to send my players on a second camp sunday (so start of the camp monday), I could select all players, but the camp didn't appear confirmed on the screen (but no screen with error either), I guess because they were still on camp till sunday but I didn't make a problem of this bug cause there are only matches on tuesday...

So now my season is already ruined by a bug and a communication fault, I hope they do something about this."

If next (for ex. 6th) level of "Human res. and economic dep." is finished on Thursday (day of 1st sponsorship offers) - will all offers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, Sunday Edition if needed) be based on previous (in this case 5th) level of this department?

Old bearded ghostlike answer lives in some old trees of Ukrainian forest: "all offers are based on Wednesday level" (people tell that other people who already leave project sent this question to developers in before-socially-active-ode times, and this Answer was given to them in feedback). So, strong new Answer is needed to finally beat the old one.

I'm quite p****d off right now with these new sponsorship offers.
From the guide:
The amount of money you get from the sponsor is influenced mainly by: the final ranking in the recently ended season, the overall team rating and the level of the human resources and economic department. The first offer arrives on the last Thursday of the season which is day 109 of the season.
Taking part or qualifying for an international cup competition will also draw better sponsorship offers. The quality of the offer is also influenced by the level of your league.

4th place in Slovenian III.15 league
OTR 153.93 !!
Won the national cup and qualified for CWC !!
Human resources and economic department: 7

1st place in Slovenian III. level league

Eliminated in round 4 of NC and qualified nowhere.

Weekly donation: 2 963 359

Obviously qualifying for an international cup is worth a s**t. Having 19.11% better OTR is worth nothing also, not to mention having better HRE department. All that really counts is winning a damn 3rd level league, which is weaker than mine.

Or should I post this into bugs thread?

And the offers differences between league levels are ridiculous for the 1st season.

Have you received any news regarding participation to a International Cup ?

I haven't, as I haven't the previous season in hockey.

I really think the difference in OTR (19.11%!) and HRE department level in my comparision should outweight the difference between 1st and 4th place even without qualifying to CWC. So I doubt the participation in CWC is really involved in my offer.

I guess new stands are not involved in my TV rights offer. Or is it generated at the moment of vieweing it and it includes my new stands?

This problem was raised some seasons ago in hockey. Until you don't receive a news regarding this participation in International Cups, sponsorships offers will be calculated only function of the final ranking in the recently ended season, the overall team rating and the level of the human resources and economic department.

I knew that. But I was told in hockey that everything is ok, even without news about participation. Nevertheless, I doubted it then and I doubt it now for sure.

I am just curious how on earth new managers are supposed to go up in the leagues?

I mean, the higher you play, the more money you will get from sponsors/tv and that will allow you to build bigger and better stadiums and thus more weekly income. It also means that you are able to built better facilities (faster training, better youth pulls, etc.) and will improve your team faster than any new manager is able to do.

Even if you demote, you will still keep the sponsors/tv offer that you had in the higher division, giving you a huge advantage (1* offer div. II is the same as my seasonal III budget!!) over new managers that need to cope with less income. My prediction is that the demoted managers of this year will be the top managers in the next season. Unless they have no clue what they are doing.

So, can anyone of you come up with certain strategies/ways in which a new manager is able to promote in a league in which other managers already have a headstart and also better sponsordeals?

From my point of view there is none, which means that the top divisions will always be filled with the same managers (give or take) and that new managers will lose interest very quickly, due to the lack of results and the prospect of promoting.

I've started to play hockey in division IV. Now, it's season 5, and I'm on 3rd place in top division ! If you are a good MANAGER, you can make a lot of money and you can get to top division really fast !
