Maybe because of the OTR
He would still earn more money, i believe, on D1 even though he would gain less OR.
But you get the promoting prize money next season if you demote yourself,as he did... He is probably planning on winning next season and keep doing this... Promote to I, get bonus and great sponsors... Demote to II, get less sponsors and no prize money... That's what he's been doing for a while... He promoted in season 6, demoted in 7, promoted in 9, demoted in 10
My understanding is you only get the promotion once
You get the prize money every time you promote, but you only get the OTR bonus once, if I remember correctly.
So then why is he and others promoting and demoting every other season on purpose? The promotion bonus does not make up for the lost ticket sales and sponsorships revenue, right?
Yeah, it's really not worth it. I dunno, maybe he didn't read the update stating that he doesn't get the OTR bonus anymore? I don't believe he's active on the forums, so it's very possible that he simply doesn't know about it.

You still get a sort of OTR bonus if you demote by playing getting to play weaker competition.
You and Fistaco have the same logo, what's that about?
I don't know who Fistaco is, but the Flyers are my favorite hockey team.
Oh! It's a hockey team (Fistaco is a team in II.2)
