Hi I signed up. I am interested in managing or as an assistant or help out. Any is good for me.
If they're starting the national squads next year, they should've just started with the "under 21" division.
All of the guys on the "Senior" national team will be under 21 anyways.
They probably could've waited another season or two before they really needed a "Senior" division. =/

For what it's worth, I'd be happy with either of you guys running the squad lol.
Well the elections are looking good for me so far but that doesnt mean anything. Tescosamoa has 5 that is a decent amount.
Come on guys, I need some votes. Nothing against WasUpNerd, but I think first manager of Handball national team, should be a veteran, with lots of experience in this game.
New sport , new managers , nothing against you either but why veterans?!? The sports are different ( even though they are bassicly same, but thats different story) + I have as much experiance as I can
i dont agree necessarily with experience. an experienced player can always be as assistant.
game is new to all of us. What we know about soccer and hockey adds very little to handball.
being a former national manager/assistant does add value.
Outsider, not being against you. You would be a great manager, just not agreeing 100% of the argument.
what i want in first season is someone that is very interested and active.
WasUpNerd has been very interested since day one and even being crazily creative offering ppm credits for scouting.. so.. is a good candidate

Although that was avery stupid move because I did everything my self anyway, and it is not even that hard to find players just go ethru every league , transfers etc.
And also I asked a very famous manger Citellus if he could help my out and he agreed. He has tuns of experiamce from nationals teams. He even won the World Cup.
Yeah... I'm with bulls4ever. The most important factor to me with the national team manager at this point is motivation and passion. They can always consult the "veteran" players if they have any specific questions.
It also might be because I'm not a "veteran" player (by even PPM's labeling standards), and I wouldn't want to be discriminated against because of that either.
Either way... I take passion any day. Someone with passion for the national team might just do some really creative/inventive stuff on the side including (but not necessarily limited to) issuing press releases about the national team, it's players, and/or important game results. Anything that might make the games more interactive for the rest of us in a meaningful way.
I think there's tons that can be done to make the national team really interesting (and provide US managers with a real sense of pride), and I haven't seen much from the hockey national teams in the last calendar year to suggest that "veteran" managers can provide that spark (no offense meant to the hockey national team managers that do a wonderful job managing the teams).

I agree with this one. After being stuck with Penskid on the hockey U20 team this term, I think someone with a bit of passion would be a much better choice.
