Congrats! I agree...a tie is a solid result in that game. Good start.
I meant to mention before, but since I was outgoing manager, let me know if you need anything from me. Looks like the team is mostly set, but I probably have just about everybody who you might consider adding scouted (at least, those players that I know of, and I spent a lot of time trolling team rosters and transaction lists). And I know the system/rules/etc. pretty well.

Damn. The U20 team took a bad beat as well. Despite out-shooting the Russians 8-3, they lost 0-1.

Clearly we need to work on our conditioning. Guess who's running laps tomorrow?
The Senior team's subs were also unable to beat Peru and ended 0-0 even though we out-shot them 6-2 (their GK was the MoM). However, we are just about qualified because the two teams that are tied for second place play each other and we will play against the two weakest teams in our group. If we win one and tie one we will be first for sure.

Iven if they also play VL, ONE GAME is not enough to judge "how good" the team really is. Instead, compare him with how the same team used to do

capsaicin is helping me to scout the top 30 17yo players in USA. We have almost finished it. It is sad to see several top players not well trained
If elected, this season I will try to work with managers to get the top prospect 16yo that are not currently well trained and could start next season to correct their training.
For this season it will be hard. If not well trained players can have their ratio fixed in 45-60 or so days they can be considered for this season. I will contact managers.

lol welcome to the grind. Its horrible to see 1400 OR 20 year old with horrendous builds.
well, lets work this out. I get it is hard to keep up with training but focusing on one or two extra players in the team isn't that hard.
