I'm trying to figure this out: what does the +/- rating mean? (Sometimes it is high and sometimes it is low, but I can't figure out why.) And how is it calculated?
+ is for when the line scores a goal (for all players in the line)
- is for when a line receives a goal (for all players in the line)
+/- does not count for PP or PK lines

Also, if +/- doesn't count for pp or pk lines, why do I have lines with different ratings? Like: hockey.powerplaymanager.c... happened with the +/- rating in this game?
Hmm maybe i did say it wrong.
Think that you get your + for a SH goal, and you get the - if you get a goal on PP.
You just don't get + if you score a PP goal (not 100% sure about this), and you don't get a - if you receive a goal on PK line.

Think it affects Popularity. Popularity affects Attendance.

it has an influence on the selection of the stars of the game and all star team and therefore also on the popularity of a player. but it's main value is statistical. it gives you a better idea of how your players are valuable to the team.

I think a lot of things here need a cancel feature.
