I'm ok with most of things that you say, especially about the importance of developping traffic on the game.

But it's a bad idea to force managers to connect, when you can find some other solutions. By now, we have the feeling to be "forced" to connect each 15 days for the draft.

You say than if I don't want to "play" the draft, I can ignore it. But I lose the rare chances to pick up a good player. So I MUST do it if I want to keep chances. If I don't, I lose the half of my academy's pull-out, cause a few players will continue to follow the draft.

This game is supposed to be equal if you have 5 minutes per day or 2 hours to spend on the game. Now it's wrong. Especially if you don't have pro-pack.

If it's just about traffic and credits options, there is a lot of other ways to do it. You guys make an extraordinary work since all these years, and maybe you have already think about a lot of ways to generate traffic. But, as far as I can see, this way is very confusing for managers right now.

Try to understand my point of you. You decrease my chances to improve my team, and you telling me : If you're not happy, you can go away. That's the way I understand it, and this is not pleasant to hear, especially when you buy pro-packs since many years.

As I say in my precedent message : if you want to make all the managers interested (and so generate traffic), make a draft that will be interesting far away than the 4th pick.

Also, think about football or handball fans, who don't know what the hell is a draft ? There is no reason to do that in these sports.

You say "But the draft gives you an option to pull players for positions that you need." That's true until the 4th pick, cause after that, why choose a position if the player will never leave the academy ? There is nonsense.

You answer it by "It also gives you a chance to influence your luck". That's not really true. It would be if there was a chance to my C or D choice to transform, with a minimal percentage, to an A or A+. But, if I understand, the "hidden star player" is already determinated before the draft. So if I choose defensemen, and the hidden star player is, this time, a winger, I have 0% chances to have an A player.

"But I don't think that's the case because you never know when you will find that superstar player. And I think that's what makes the draft interesting. " It don't make it interesting. It's just you HAVE to connect and follow the draft to keep your chances to have a good player. And that's frustrating. Not interesting.

If you want some ideas to generate trafic and credits, a lot of managers have interesting ideas here. I have a few too, we can discuss it by mail, it will be a pleasure for me.

I get it. I just hoped that it would help the weaker teams. Teams with weak SA. With SA weaker then my.Thats all.

First of all we have terminology problem here. If I scout a player I get him with exact numbers, here scouted players turn from A with 5* to 50% quality player.
We are observing players in draft not scouting.

Picking player by position is nonsence couse all players becides A+ get fired and there is only one A+, or none in the draft.
There are other ways to make profit from this game and not to make managers sleep on PPM.

Last team on the table picking first in the last draft. Thats bad idea. People started selling players and loosing on purpose. There is no other online game in the world that motivates to loose.

I can repeat my self for 100 times, no problem.
For the last draft rankings should be made acording to previous pulls. Teams that got youths with lower quality in the whole season get to pick first. Players for last draft are shown from the start of the season and you can REALLY scout them thruout the season.

p.s you can make a credit option to change a position for drafted player.
I dont mind credit options but sitting an hour for draft like an idiot....

I agree, terminology of "draft scouting" should be changed. Something like "Preview Player" rather than "Scout Player".

Im in the middle with SA and in top4 in the league at 2 sports. That tells me that Im in bad position for 6 drafts. Im left to hope on a lot of luck with 2 random drafts to get in first 3 picks. Playing against bad odds is not very interesting, especialy in computer game that should be fair for everyone.

As game developers your goal is to get money for game's existance, and after that a reason to come back and play.

As far as I'm concerned, you haven't give me any reason to spend more time playing this relatively great game, quite the opposite. It got me thinking why should I stick playing it, when you guys took away my option of pulling players every second week. By creating draft, sure you gave us a chance to influence our luck, position – at least 2,3 teams that have top picks. I didnt have top pick so far, but I have a feeling I'll be the one to get a star pick with one screwed skill, i.e. technique 48,.. well thanks a lot, you are so kind

Ok, I can just ignore draft as you say, and let competition to strentghen, while I'll stagnate, I might drop to lower leagues – which will be »max range of my team«. That will encourage me to shut down my team(s).
You need to rethink this, You obviously aren't thinking ahead, you just see »commercial succes« (in the short run).. on my part this draft forces me to spend more time in the game (like the way I do now isn't enough!),.. I dont need to if I dont want, you say, ok, but how am I to be competitive then? Does it makes sense for me to continue playing? I dont think so. It's DICOURAGING. Try and think ahead, or just ignore as you did before.

PS: maybe when this game vanishes, you'll get my point. Good luck.

That was news to me a while ago, now its just a sad fact.

But in order this game can survive, draft will take place every second week, in all three sports (soon 4th) and there is nothing we can do! They just wont come to their senses. Fine by me, I probably wont wait for this ship to sink

PPM team will be the looser in the long term, though it seems they are winnig in the short term. Being stubborn is recipe for disaster, they just dont see it yet. And I'm gonna whine about it, until there is some hope they realize that.

On account of what you're saying, I would like to add that frequency of drafts is multiplied by the number of sports one plays. I play only one and, the way it is, it's already too much for me.

PPM team should really consider this, because some managers might give up on playing multiple sports and that actually means less income. Draft is a great idea, but with the way it is currently done, I fear it is becoming counterproductive.

I agree, the draft should be a little bit more special to make it a 'treat' to make it an 'event', versus just the norm, so much prefer every 4 weeks instead of every 2 weeks. But I guess they must have statistics and numbers to back it up for their decision - hard to argue with the mighty $.

Agreed, and I was wondering about creating a basketball team or not. And I probably won't do it. Not just because of this draft emulation, but because everytime there is a credit option that pop up to us, and the community massively contest it for any reason, well, noone of the admins really care, finally :/

I'm probably not the only one, but i'm just saying, to explain as all of you, that on the long term, it's not a good strategy for ppm to do this.

It would be best if draft was once per season, based on the last season's standings (the most realistic way, which unfortunately doesnt bring in cash). Teams would have whole season time for "scouting" players. We would influence our luck with level of SA, HRD,.. basicly with the same tools as we do now!

I'd suggest that B's would be the worst type of player. A few A+, a bit more A's an a lot of B's. As many B's as I've seen so far, noone was worth keeping. That way it might be possible to find a gem in later rounds/b-potential players.

Take a look at these: shrani.si/f/1M/UN/2e0m3Ow... ... they were all B's and if I didn't sign them via regular pull, why would I do it via draft?! The only difference is I spent almost an hour drafting and a few seconds by pulling.

Draft is fun maybe for first few picks (and there also is chance that player will have one bad Q!), in all other cases its a waste of time and we automatically get robbed of chance to get a player every second week, while our competition has that chance (but it doesnt mean they will get a star player, it just means more people give up on drafts, more chances they have)

They can have it their way "short term-we need to survive", but utterly they will wind up having nothing.

It's so sad what they are doing. I loved PPM, but now they are in the process of disgust me more each time. Especially with this draft football that does not exist. It's sad how they reject all proposals as they earn money. As you say all, soon they will not win anything but that they do not understand ...
