Well, we had a slim chance of scraping through, but both Denmark and Norway won their final matches, ending our world championship run with the qualifiers.

It's been a fun few years...14 seasons!... And I have enjoyed being the U17 manager. There have been some real highlights, including hosting the world cup, and reaching the final 16...twice!

But it's time to pass the baton. I hope the next manager all the best (voting is currently underway). The U17s are the backbone of our future Aussie team!

Okay guys... I have bad news... as of next season we don't have an accurate amount of 15/16 yr to make us competitive with the next few seasons.. now I do ask that you promote/sell some quality players.. I just want to try and keep us rolling

I've...had bad luck with my sports academy this season, and mostly had 2-3 star players or less.

BTW what positions are we weak in? I can always try recruit players in those positions. It might not be truly competitive, but it's better than nothing!

TBH, we just don't have enough mature teams. Colah & myself are the only ones with any Max facilities, whereas we used to have several! Other teams are catching up, but it takes a lot of time.

Colah's dead. Before I wound it up, I drafted a lot of 15 and 16 year olds although, looking through the transfer list, you appear to have all the good ones. The only ones you don't have are:
Matthew Earl
Rob Beresford
Lane Collins

They're not that great. Grand Sydney and Fire Kickers have better options.

Gulargambone is improving its facilities but still has a way to go. My best 15yo has an OR of 257. Looking at the other new clubs, I can see three 15yos with an OR over 300. If all those clubs stick around, we will see better prospects this time next year. But you might have to scrape the barrel a bit this time

Yer I've notice these guys! I've got them already scouted so when it comes time next season I can look at them and most likely be selecting them

Grand Sydney has decent facilities, and I had Grand Sydney players on the team even when I was U17 manager.

I'm pretty sure we can fill out the numbers with random players, but we just don't have a large enough base for a really competitive U17 team at the moment...
