I know what you mean, those long streaks against noname teams are really boring. I'm glad I got to work on this team and really excited by our success !

First lost !
It was a tough game, we got an early lead but couldn't hold on and finished the 1st period on an even score. And we trailed for the first time less than 6 minutes before the end. Then, they scored an empty netter and that was it.
Now, let's move on to the next game. We still have our 2d place and we can keep it if we win !

Lost again...
And this one feels bad. We started the game perfectly and took a 2 goals lead. But then, we let our guard down and lost our lead in the 3rd period and could'nt tied it when we pulled our goalie. Cleary this one is on me, my strategy wasn't the best.
Now we play Italy and then Ukraine, the two teams that were in the upper league last season. And our players are tired and it shows. Those will be tough to win. But there is always hope !

Their is a lot of frustration from this WCH, because we had a lead in those 3 games and lost it in the 3rd periode and took an empty netter. 3 times.
Now, against the leader, it seems unlikely that we could win. But let's give our best and go for it anyway !

We end this WCH on a high note, we just defeated the leader.
So we had 4 wins and finish 4th. It's pretty good. There is room for improvement and even if I made some mistakes, I'll learn from them. For a very first WCH, I think it can be considered a successful season.
I hope you'll allow me to continue my work and try to do better next season !!

The WCH is beginning tonight for our 3 NT, I hope we get some good results !
I know I haven't been very active this season and that may be scaring some of you. But don't worry, the team is ready and I have done my homeworks for the upcoming games. I think we have a shot at toping our last season results and finishing in the top 3.

First win, 7-1 !
A great team effort, all goals were scored by a different player. And our goalie did a great game also, with 95.83% of stops. Even the 4th line that played only during the last period scored.
Today, we play against Estonia. I did a few minor changes in the roster and chose a new tactic. Let's hope it works and, like last season, we beat them.

OT win, 5-4 !
It wasn't an easy game. Very close at all time, it could have gone either way, but we got the extra point and that is what matters.
Today is the easiest game of this WCH. Bosnia is clearly not at its best and they always play the same way, so it shouldn't be hard to get the 3 points and move on to the big challenge. Let's hope I'm not overconfident !

Third win, 8-2 !
Yes, no bad luck here ! Our 4th line and backup goalie got some icetime and we saved a lot of energy. It's a good thing as we are now facing Romania.
It is going to be a tough game, but we won against Ukraine last season, maybe we can win this one too. I'll do my best.

This game was amazing ! We grabed an early lead with a SH goal and we held onto it. My tacticle choses got us the win, but it was a tough game and we lost a lot of energy. I hope it won't make the last 3 games too hard for us.
Next, we meet Spain. Their WCH isn't that great so far and they always use the same style of play. But it won't be easy, that's for sure !
Now we're in the lead, and it's well deserved. Let's keep focus and go for the promotion in Div I !!!

5th win !! 
My personal goal was to do better than last season and it's done. Our team was good in every aspects. Good defense, good goaltending and good offense. Not perfect, but strong enough !
But it's not over yet. Two more games to play and we need one more win to secure the promotion. Let's get it tomorrow against Norway !!

We are going to play in Div I next season ! After only 2 seasons under my management we get to the next level ! I'm really proud of the work of you all ! You trained good players and it really shows.
Now, we go for the title. It's between us and Romania, so we need the win against Belgium and stay on top !
