Penalty for too small, yes. Penalty for too tall, yes, but not as much as too small.

I think it was reverse.
I recall vlady saying theere was a sharp penalty for being over the height limit.

I think it would be kinda cool if this site had something like a sports reporter that followed one particular League, like Div.I or Div.II. and provided a brief game summary for each game through out the season. Sorta like how the NFL hypes all the plays and players, stat leaders, game strats, rivalries, important impacting games of the week, etc etc...

Or maybe i smoked to much....

Well maybe someone inside that league could do that. I try to do something similar for my team in the league forum.

Turn these mother effing fouls DOWN!!! God damn. Talk about sucking the life out of a game,dammit already. 5 fouls in 1 minutes time, really? I see this sort of nonsense all the time. And the pointless fouling with mere seconds to go,its like clockwork, just wait for it, never fails.

If I could only fast forward a season or 2....wanted: one youthful center with height. Might cut down on the amount of fouls im committing. Willing to trade a half eaten donut and a luke warm coffee for any potential centers. : )

LOLZ @ this game.....I have player with a defense over 200....higher OR than opponent yet cannot score AND allows a weaker player 17 points. and 1 block 1 steal.....................

Losing to the same team i just beat, by nearly 30........and then the dang foul shooting...as usual barely over 50%....44 free throw shots in one game youd think one could figure out your supposed to put the ball in the hole....but not here at PPM.
Wth is the foul shooting regulated by? Seriously, wth determines the shot percentage each game? Certainly ones shooting skills has little to do with it.

foul shots are decided by technique and shot, technique being just as important

I know this sounds stupid, but from my observation free throws are also decided by the strength of your opponent.

Thats what I thought as well. Which doesnt really sound fair, or even smart. Its a free advantage to a team with a better OR. Free throws shouldnt have anything to do with the strength of the opponent, its an uncontested free shot. I've been told that before and certainly cant get PPM to respond or even shed a little light on this. I think they couldnt sort out a better means to regulate free throws so they said screw it, give the advantage to the better team, which is 100% the case. Whats even worse is that i can sometimes shoot 1 for 16 from 3 pt land and make 20 outta 22 free throws. The next day im around 50-60% free but i make 10 or 14 3 pointers. How in the hell does any of that make a bit of sense? If i can shoot 3 pointers all day long, why the hell cant i shoot decent at the line?

I know im peeing in the wind griping about this because PPM NEVER fixes what is clearly broken...well that is of course unless one of the leading euro countries throws a fit over something, otherwise nothing is explained or corrected. This site has potential but they shoot themselves in the foot over and over.....

in the guide it dictates that technique is important up close and shot isnt and vice versa, therefore since its a mid range shot logic deduces that it uses both equally. I mean I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I don't think free throws have anything to do with team OR.
But I think the free throws may have something to do with the technique of the opposing player. I.e. if your SG is shooting free throws, his technique is somehow compared to the technique of the opposing SG.
Not that this make any more sense overall.

In PPM attributes has no maximum. Players are getting better season after season and the game doesn't really know if 100 shooting (for example) is good or not. At some point only the best player in the game can have that and many seasons later only the worst players in the league have 100. However, the game can compare attributes to opponents' attributes and that's basically the only way it can measure how high class your player is at free throws. That's basically how all sports work in PPM but I think those free shots are the first thing that makes it look ridiculous.
