Wow. Big difference from III to I. Maybe the extra HR levels help as well

HR level makes a big difference. I'm only at level 5, with no staff.

My 2 star general offer is around 82 million.

My 1 star media is 1.8 million.

Team USA is a good comparison for my team since I only have a slightly lower OTR and finished 1 and then 2 spots behind them.

I have 250 more seats. Correcting linearly (8/7*1.8) gives me about $300,000 more (which could easily be attributable to the slightly better star rating of my offer.

The $9 million more for the general sponsor can probably be attributed to the better HRE. Of course, the HRE cost me $6.8 million, and up to $1 million of the remainder can be attributed to star rating. In the end, it may not make that much of a difference at this point (maybe a net of $100,000 or so more per week minus excess maintenance costs), except for allowing me to reach even higher levels for the HRE faster.

I got 3 stars same as captain, we finished the season about the same OTR and place, but he got 10M more

Hiya finished better than me and better OTR but one level and no staff to get same offer with one less HR level and 1 less star.

Hard to say HR alone makes the huge difference

what we learned for sure (well i guess some already knew) starting at lower level division to earn the promotion money does not pay off. Much less sponsor and also finishing bonus.

I'm not so sure about that, assuming that the teams that promote will start next season with good OTR and may not have their OTR diminished by as much next season. None of the teams promoting into I.1 have responded yet. None of the other teams with a level 7 HRE have responded yet either (the only ones from I.1 are the Cataclysm, Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, (formerly) corona's, and (eventually) Asshai Shadow Babies).

That's definitely true for the teams that didn't stay in or promote to the top two tiers. Tujgaue only had -$16M compared to you with a level 5 HRE. With a level 7 HRE, tujague might have been at least -$10M (less than the promotion bonus). Of course, it is risky to take the chance that you will promote fast from tier III (and difficult to save the money for a level 7 HRE while trying to do so).

I was going to write an article about finances. I made analyze on all division based on bonus, players bonus and etc.

for example the winner of the III would earn as much as the loser of I (including promotion bonus). So there is a 15-20M difference here

From my analysis the winner (or anyone promoting) from II would get advantage over most division I but not all. Mostly over the ones that didnt make the playoffs.

yes, there is OTR advantage BUT the top 2 of I will play champions league and chances for more OR.
