Does anybody know how friendlies affect your team overall rating? Do you get as much of a boost for winning a friendly as you do for winning a league match? Should I just play friendlies for money or should I play weak teams to boost my overall team rating?
Friendlies give you about 10% of regular league win (if you win it)
That said, you need to win at least 10 friendly to earn as many points as one singe league win.
Have not counted how many friendlies a team usually could have in a season (if play every day) but 50 sounds like a good number.
so in short, if you win ALL 50 friendly, you get as many as 5 league wins worth of points.
In the other hand, a friendly has around 25-30% of stadium capacity. Having to share that, then you have 12 to 15%.
With that in ind, playing in your stadium, it is already "better" to play for money than for win but keep in mind that 5 league wins worth OR would also provide better sponsor that would offset the stadium gain.
So, IMO, it is better to play for money when you play away in a bigger stadium and the manager playing home would go for the winning strategy.
This season i am playing for winning most games because I have just promoted and need to gain some extra OR before i get a stronger team. Other than that, I always play for the money.

Thanks very informative. Now if I only knew how much 5 wins worth of OR would affect my end of year sponsorship, but I know nobody knows that. I've been playing strictly for money this year as pretty much every friendly I have is an away game vs a team with a bigger stadium than mine and subsequently is much better than me at this point, but I feel my OR is lagging, maybe I'll schedule a few gimmie games over the next month.
I need some friendlies for the month of June, I would prefer to play homes games if teams have small stadiums.
Need friendlies for 24th, 27th and 31st May. Also June is free.
Please challege for bigger stadium. Mine should be at 12000 capacity since ill be ordering an upgrade in about a week or so.

if you save me a day earlier next season i can schedule a match. I will have 40k seats by the end of season but i am booked now and cant book more than 30 days advance right now as i dont have pro pack anymore for soccer
I've got invites out to people for the first 2 weeks of July. After that, I'm totally open.
