Not sure if this is some kind of a bug or something, but I hope you guys can check this out for me.
I checked my arena daily maintenance expenses this morning, it said 908 553. Then I removed my head custodian to see how much does he lower these daily expenses. Then I put him back on the head position exactly like it was before, but now it says my daily expenses are 931 362.

that's odd. It does seem like a bug. Let's see what happens in the night calculation and how much it takes from you.
Based on my math, the correct daily maintenance should be 931 362 - which is what I expect tomorrow. Not sure why it was a bit lower today BUT if I may guess it has something to do with the fact that until now my max number of custodians was 3. Due to my recent arena improvement, yesterday it increased to 4. So I'd say there's some kind of a bug in there and my removal of head custodian 'fixed' the error.
Today it was 931 362.

there will be a small penalty because of that one game that you lost. but of course you will get all the bonuses for winning your league and qualifying for the champions league

No, only the attributes are involved in gages calculation.
