Its unfortunate that world championship are at the end of season. Thats the time when usually most of the pople run their camps...

I'm pretty sure that they changed it a few seasons ago so that players in camp can still play for their national teams.

If you are correct than i feel relieved, because 17 of 28 players that we called up for an upcoming U-18 game are in camp.

Yes players in camp can play for the National teams.

They play but they don't get the camp training bonus.

But they also get extra training for playing a national game.

Indeed, however that is not as much as the training camps are.

True. But if you want your player to play on the national you have to think of when to schedule them for camps. Also if they played in the friendly national games they were getting extra training there.

No, they still get the training camp bonus. I think they just don't get the extra bonus from playing for the national team. In other words, they don't get a double bonus, but they do get the bigger of the two bonuses.

I don't know how we ended up winning the group. Next up the playoffs against Netherlands and it will again be a very tough match. Honestly, this season, all teams are really close because we just started so all matches are a real dog fight. I don't know if we'll beat the Dutch, but if we do it would be great.

Well, that's the end of our adventure. Tough loss to the Dutch but as I mentioned above, teams are so close that all games are very tough.

I'd like to inform everyone that I will not be running in the U20 election next season. The reason is that I've started a new job and it's keeping me away from a computer for most of the day. I only log into PPM once a day and try to do everything in one sitting. That's not really the effort I would want my country's managers to put in for this job so it's best I let someone else take the reigns next.

I hope you all are happy with the U20 team's performance this season. Unfortunately, we lost a tight match to the Dutch in the quarters. Had we won, I feel like we could have gone on win it all, especially since in the final now it's Italy U20 vs UK U20, teams we beat in our group.

If the next manager of the U20 team wants to message me, feel free to do so, just know I won't be able to reply during the week till I get back from work.

As far as players, we have some very good 19 year olds currently on the team who will be the core of the team next season. The goalkeeper position will be a tough void to fill but I think the current U18 keeper (and my team's starter) might be able to get the job done, even as a 19 year old. I have all the players scouted and I'll update the DB in the next few hours or Monday afternoon.
