I got all 3, and though they were crappy 2 star deals, it was nice to be able to compare them. For my 9th place team with 18 wins, it looks like the original type of deal will be the best, since the new types won't really pay off much for the added risk, and could pay significantly less if the season doesn't go well.
I got a huge offer for both sponsorship and media compared to last season. Both 5*. Will be making 23% more than last season.
The new general sponsor contract style could be interesting, The one that gives you a bonus for wins was a low like 1-2* deal and offered the potential to make more than the low 5* contract that was offered. Although I'm a bit apprehensive about the third option where you set your expectations and wouldn't want to run the risk of having a bad season.
Also gratz killerpuck, Locking down that much of a boost on the first day is great.

By winning matches, the earn the same amount of money Id have to have to improve from this season where i won 27 matches. The pay is the same as original if i win 26 matches. Get more money if win more. In short: Id ended up losing money.
Position wasn't bad. If i picked the last offered position Id have to collect 3 out of the 5 times to earn the same.
From what i see this will work for choosing position as it is high risk high reward OR if you are among the top team in the league and can go for wins.

I'll preface my next post by saying... sorry for people who don't like long posts. I however like using this thread as a journal of sorts (so that I can see how my sponsorship offers change over time).

| The last offer is really tempting. While I prefer the structure of the 2nd type of deal (because the income streams would be more regular), a 30% increase over this year's 5 star deal is definitely hard to pass up. It doesn't knock my socks off however (perhaps if it were a 5 star deal I'd accept it outright), so I think I'll wait to see if I can get a better offer on the 2nd type of deal.
The nice thing about the structure of the 2nd type of deal is that if you do better than you expected, you are rewarded in real terms (that 2 star deal could earn me nearly $143 million, should I be able to go undefeated again this season), so I'm interested to see how much better it could be if the deal were a little bit higher rated.
Plus, this is the first season for this change in sponsorship structure, so I'm kind of curious to see what the differences in the bonus structures are depending on how star ratings change.

Totally just realized I calculated the value of the second type of sponsorship deal wrong. I didn't include playoff games, so I could actually earn another 6ish million for going undefeated in the regular season and playoffs (this year I won 42 games including the playoffs). That would put me right at/around the value of the 3rd type of offer.
Less risk than the 3rd deal structure and similar reward even at 2 stars lower. I'll definitely be waiting to see if I can get a better rated deal on that 2nd type of deal structure.

This is probably really boring, but I ended up selecting the regular offer on the first day.
The offer was 4 stars at $16.6 million per week, up $2.6 million per week from last year. The position based offer was only 1 star and would have required me to be 7th place in league I.1 every week to break even. The win-based offer was 4 stars and would require me to have at least about a .500 record to break even. With a better offer, the third type might have allowed me to break even by earning 16th place. while the win-based one just wouldn't be a good choice for my team in I.1. I suppose I could have waited for a 5 star offer since there are now 3 different offers, but the 4 star offer looked good enough.
I also got at least a 4 star offer for 6/8 of my VIP leases, and I only rejected the other 2 3 star offers and a 2 star media offer ($15 million per week, up $3 million from last season's 2 star offer).

CRAP... I dont think I scrolled down far enough to see all 3 offers. I saw my first one.. the "regular" one... and it was a 35% bump over what I had this season, so I jumped at it. I wish I'd been paying closer attention now...
Accepted the "traditional" General Offer because it was a nice 21% bump. I had another 5 star offer for the league position type but it was just about the same money as the traditional, so I just didn't do that in case I start off on the wrong foot.
Didn't accept the Media because it was one star and way lower money-wise

I didn't work out the math to this level (nice work, by the way), but I took deal #2. 5* for 50k more a week than I was getting...plus the win bonus. Factoring in playoff wins, and this ends up being about a a nice bump in sponsor money if all i do is the same as I did this season. I am not a fan of the choose your position deal. But, I am liking the choices in this change.

| Thoughts:
| Well... I got a 5 star offer today from the 3rd deal. I'm thinking I'm dumb not to take it. If I only get 2/5 of the bonuses, it's value is equal to yesterday's 4 star "normal" (type 1) offer. If i get 0/5 bonuses, it's still worth roughly $12 million (or a ~10%) more than last year's 5 star deal.
The total value if I finish rank 4 or above (reasonable since there's only 5 or so active teams in my division and I went undefeated last season) is $152,594,059. That's $37,370,091 (or a 32.4%) increase over last season's 5 star general sponsorship offer.
The guide does not describe how random offers on day 4 work (will the offer be randomly picked from all three types? what rank might be set should type 3 be randomly selected? etc.). So while I really would've preferred taking an offer with the structure of type 2 (bonuses for each game won), I basically only have 1 day more to get a great offer there, and I think I might really regret not accepting the 5 star deal at hand.
