Cheers on that! I actually had those two guys in Germany scouted so i guess they were sold. we scoured the drafts but i dont have the patience to check everyone's transfer wires. Both those guys look like additions. all the others are on our list.
I have all these guys scouted on my side of things.
The 2 goalies (Adam and Walters) are the only 2 19yo that could fill the spot next season. There's literally no one else available (except Drew McKay, who is pretty far behind). We're lookin gat a predicted 1430 OR for both et the END of next season (1250ish for this season).
Current 18 yo goalie MchMahon is slated for 1205 at the end of *this* season, and around 1600 at 20 if his training keeps up. Even if his lower CL comes a bit more into play, he'll be better than both current 19yo goalies at the end of the next season.
In other words, pick 1 of the 2, but McMahon should be the starter next season anyway.
The rest are mostly low-end 19yo that may be edged by the following season's crop. I've been focusing on the below 18yo in my analysis first, but as soon as I'm done updating the handball players I'll tackle the predictions for the U20 as well

Do note that the previous statements are to be taken with a bit of salt, cuz a good number of the players I updated recently have been on training camps, so their overall OR increase may be a bit higher than it should.
We still actually have two guys in Europe that will be scouted tomorrow but we think that we have what we need now so we will select. Would like to thank the Silence Stealer GM for the tip-off on the two guys in Germany. We didn't think to just check the stats from last year's U18 line-up: this is partly due to the rookie nature of our work with the U20's and partly due to the fact that I am slow and dumb. That said, we are pleased to cap:
Hayes - C - 19 - Ried F Germany II.2
Montgomery - C - 19 - RC Redshift
Leclerc - RW - 19 - RM Wolverines
Beilhartz - RW - 19 - Black Metal
Carriere - UW - 19 - Dunnville Mudcats
Pickering - LD - 19 - Winnipeg Warriors
Lanthier - RD - 19 - FC Redshift
Durkin - UD - 19 - EHC Boltz Germany II.4
Lacombe - RD - 19 - Montreal Magma
Adam - G - 19 - Garfield
Lots of good guys that were really close to the line but we have to draw it somewhere...We still have five slots open for the two guys tomorrow (if needed) and, if not, for any clubs that might start drifting towards the waterfall. Other than a rather thin presence on wing we think that this club looks good.
We're excited!

And by the way, the decision to add two more Royal City Redshift players to the team had absolutely nothing to do with the pressuring phone call that their GM made to our team officials mentioning all the things that they have done for our club...
Who is this FC Redshift? I want to lodge a TM violation complaint!
Couldn't help notice that the home arena for the team was from the now defunct Stoney Creek Saints. Nobody could pay me any amount to make me think one way or another but still - I respect people for the things that they do, especially what they do for their country, and what they do for this great game. Therefore, the new stadium for the U20 team is the Venture Heights Arena in honour of the solid work that their GM does for our national game.

Thank you.
It is indeed an honour to have our arena picked as a home team arena for one of our national teams.
Recognition of our efforts to promote our favourite sport and this great country is much appreciated.
Further recognition should go to those managers who have supported our efforts through good training and keeping us informed with regard to upcoming prospects.
Once again, thank you.

Somewhere in Saigon right now, in some run-down hotel, John Clit is staring up at an overhead fan, the alcohol coming out of his skin. Right here, in my tiny back room study, my dog Grover's hot breath is blowing in my face. Fucking guy stiffed me with this week's settings...but he is all I've got...please check your guys' availability before Saturday's friendlies.
And that, of course, is exactly why we chose it. As you can tell by the nature of our club and the people that run it, we enjoy the atmosphere of the part of the town closest to the train tracks...
www.railpictures.ca/uploa... arena is a full-sized pad, complete with lights, on the other side of the driveway about half way down the right side of the photo. Hours and hours spent here, a lot of which were spent on a manual Zamboni! Spectators watch from the surrounding snowy amphitheatre. This, and thousands of others like it, represent the true birthplace of hockey in this country.
I am guessing that the Page Not Found is part of the fun here. Try checking out the Briar Patch on your Google Image Search and you will get the same kind of fiction...
