35:14 - Daniel Novotný trying to play the puck but there is a disagreement with his lawyers. Rusu goe take this blunder to create a perfect opportunity for Phil "Incoming" Bogie, who missed the goal wide open when he was chosen by Al Sanchez. A delayed penalty is signaled. Goe Rusu retrieves the puck, the returns in the enclave in the direction of Phil "Incoming" Bogie who does not miss the opportunity this time!
So he should have a 2min Powerplay. Guy in the box gets out and the guy with the delayed penalty goes to the box.
So it looks like the refs signaled a penalty but you had possession. So the play won't stop until the opponent takes possession. But since you scored before they got the puck it cancels out the penalty since when you score someone comes out of the box. I have never seen it before, but I love that little bit of extra realism!
The thing is the delayed penalty should have resulted in a 2min powerplay still as the guy in the box gets out on the PPG but the new delayed penalty still gives a penalty.
I forget what it was but when we played Notre Dame they were playing with a new rule for just such a situation. It actually burned us as they scored on a delayed penalty and then on the next powerplay that followed.
In the NHL, if the non-offending team scores a goal prior to play being stopped on a delayed minor penalty call, the penalty is waived.
Yeah if I'm reading that correctly, they scored on the delayed penalty. Whcih means that the delayed penalty is waived.
The fact that there was a guy in the box means that the "first" penalty should now be over, and a new 2minute penalty should be started, if we're using NHL/IIHF rules.

that's my point nothing realy bad but 1 penalty have disapear,
the worst part in all that complain is that it was my team on the penalty kill LOL
i just want to report it you can talk about it and decide if it'S a bug or not.
from my point of view they should be another 2 minute penalty like in NHL

and still i would like to see 4 on 4 on PPM this is a big part of the hockey game, and the name of the game is powerplay so why there is no penalty call for a team on powerplay?
No clue what was said, but once a delayed penalty is signalled, it is considered a penalty.
When a goal is scored the minor with the least amount of time left is ended.
So if there was a guy in the box, and I'm on the PP. I score on a delayed penalty, the guy in the box gets out, the person called for the delayed penalty goes in and serves his 2 minutes.
That's not just IIHF/NHL hockey, but that is every hockey I've ever played.

The actual rule in the NHL is the delayed penalty is waived, not the current one. You don't get a additional 2 mins for goal scored on a delayed penalty since you are on (not counted)"power play" the moment the goalie switches place with a forward. The only way you would gain another 2mins is if during the delayed penalty, the offending team gets another one.
Huh? You trying to say that you lose PP status when you change your goalie for a player?
Ummm... Where did you get that idea?

Case and Point:
NHL Rulebook
15.4 Calling a Penalty – Short-handed Team – Goal Scored - If when a team is “short-handed” by reason of one or more minor or bench minor penalties, the Referee signals a further minor penalty or penalties against the “short-handed” team and a goal is scored by the non-offending side before the whistle is blown, then the goal shall be allowed. The penalty or penalties signaled shall be assessed and the first of the minor penalties already being served shall automatically terminate under Rule 16 – Minor Penalties. Major and match penalties shall be imposed in the normal manner regardless of whether or not a goal is scored.
Cole's Notes:
If a team that is short-handed has a delayed penalty against it, the non-offending team scores, then the first of the minor penalties already being served shall automatically terminate. Which means the delayed penalty gets served.
P.S. On a weird side note, if even-strength and two delayed penalties are called, the captain gets to choose which one gets terminated.

Really? The captain chooses? I figured the first of the two delayed would get canned. Or is this if they happen the same exact second? Like two guys simultaneously slash one guy over the face/hand.
