Welcome to our new teams and hope to have a even better Season 5 in this League. I hope we get plenty of chats here in this forum thread in the near future.
Tough to lose both games in my 9th Place Playoff Matchup, but hopfully the new additions that the Tri-City Storm has picked up recently can turn into some good pick ups for the team and can help improve the team for the future of moving up. Don't know what that time table is at this point, but the team hopes that it keeps getting better here over the next few seasons so the team can move forward sooner then later.

What I mean to say was goodluck in I.1...sure I did. My original point still stands. Besides, I don't want to see the FPs again back in II.2 if I ever hope to close the gap of starting 2 seasons behind and getting to I.1.
Grats on winning the league btw.

The Oranges were in I.1 and relegated, and then promoted back. The Saints have been in I.1 from Season 1. I was hoping they would go High to avoid playing I.1 but no luck.
I didn't figure I could upset the Pond even on High, so I sent some folks off to camp and rested up. I'll still have a 2nd camp after the season. That will be an improvement over last season when I ran both camps at the same time - that was the reason for the slow start.

oh, by the way, these 12 players that I have sent to my team Camp are mostly 15 year old players with a few 16 and 17 year olds
So, how is everyone doing on preparing your teams for Season 5? I'm defenitly looking forward to the new season and hopfully my team will do a bit better as I have started to buy players off the market that could possibly help my team. Though it may be another season before some of the players get regular playing time, I just hope with training and sending some players to Camp will help and so far it looks as if the players who I have in Camp right now are doing well on their training and hope to be able to get them in full time by mid-season or defenitly by the end of the new season.
I just got 6 players on the market that have good Q and hopefully will be able to make an impact around the halfway point but the previous owners on a few of them have trained them lopsided but all in all the cobras will be ready to play for season 5.
yeah, that is one thing I notice when I have been searching through the market, but have found 5 players that I spent nearly $8 Million for, but possibly a couple times sent to the Camp should help them get more even.
Yeah i got lucky and was on the market when they dumped all the good players from abandoned teams and spent 13 million on 4 players and they all only have the main atty trained
If you have time to improve them and theyre c/l is good then thats a good strategy. Get a good price on the players and build up their secondaries.
That basicly has been my goal. I look at many things when getting a player, such as CL, Quality, Attributes. Also, money is something I take a look at, because I don't want to pay to much, but also I have to try to get the players as cheap as I can, as long as I don't get in a bidding war with some of those European Teams that have a boat load of money.
The 5 players I picked up were all German players, so their Attributes aren't all that lopsided and putting them in a couple Training Camps will help these players out alot, expecally since I can send 12 Players at a time to Training Camp.

I'm going with the same strategy that got me to Div II in my first season - focus on building my teams infrastructure. I try to set a goal to build my primary facilities and arena capacity every season and that'll continue in Season 5.
I'm not terribly active on the market. I'm selective in who I purchase and only ever purchase 1 or 2 players in the span of weeks, as I don't want to drop below a certain chemistry threshold. I look at market players mainly as projects then short term solutions(sort of like my Buffalo Sabres).
I'm looking forward to S5, although given my teams relative young age, I'm still far behind just about every other Div II team in terms of average player OVR. I'm keeping my goal simple, same as last season - stay in II.2
If I can improve a few spots all the better. Should be a fun season.

Welcome to II.2
I promise to take it easy on you. My team isn't good enough to do anything but that.
