PPM needs to figure out a better way to deal with injuries.
I'm sorry, but I'm the top ranked team in my division who slaughtered everyone else but I'm out of the playoffs because I go an injury and I couldn't log on to set a new lineup/scratches.

Why the hell should my scratch for one of my top Dmen be a scrub who can't even crack my top 4 lines?

Why the hell don't we have the option to bump everyone up a line and put the scrub on the 4th line?

Why don't we have the option to go from 4 lines to 3, and just pull players up the depth chart.

Oh, and because of this BS, I'm going to be punished as 'throwing' a game and getting screwed over.

I do agree that a hierachy system (similar to HockeyArena) for scratches is MUCH needed here at PPM.

That way if you set your scratches right, players will all move around different lines to fill the spots (assuming you have those subs set correctly)

I don't know if this is possible yet, but what do you think about letting countries change the names of their top division? We all know top divisions tend to have a different name depending on their language. I find it too generic to have my First division called I.1 when it could be called Primera División. This can bring enthusiasm to some teams to know their top division is called like the real one.

The massive OTS drop because of the auto-lineup.

The drop wasn't all that massive. You are just assuming and you present this assumption here as a fact and mislead everyone reading it. In fact if such punishment is due, you are always notified about it in team news.

Either way, your substitute/scratches system is pathetic and should be fixed.

Why are we only given 12 hours notice of injuries also? For people who can't constantly check this is detrimental.

Why not run the injury simulation after games are finished calculating?
That would make it appear the player got injured 'during' the game as opposed to while sleeping. It also gives people 22ish hours to make up for the injured player.

Why are you always overreacting and in need for strong vocabulary ? Scratches system is not pathetic, it's rather not perfect.

Because this is an issue that I've seen raised many times over the past couple of years yet it is constantly ignored.

I know I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them.

Also, it is extremely frustrating that I lost my playoffs to the 8th place seed because of an error like this. Now I need to spend another season in II.2 where my team went 34-0-3-1 and has a +161 goal differential.

This isn't fun to play when I don't even need to log in and check tactics or anything.

To me it seems like you didn't even set your scratches and you had a random lineup in one of those games. If that's the case, you only have yourself to blame. The system works the same way for everyone. It's not an error. Not everything is supposed to run on autopilot.

It is easy blaming it on the scratches system, which you didn't even use by the looks of it. You also need to lose twice to go out of playoffs. Are both those losses fault of the scratches system?

I'd also be frustrated if I were in your shoes, but I wouldn't blame it on the game. You know how the game works and you had a chance to prevent playing with auto-lineup.

It is small issue, it's something that could give your team teeny weeny setback. And I mean really small one.
Highly unlikely that your scratch is weaker for about 100 points in primary attribute, than a player from 4th line who could replace some recently injured fella.
Second thing - if you are so upset about that game and injury, I also believe that you mind about your PO games very much, therefore you should be able to connect to internet and set everything up. WHo doesn't visit his team in playoffs, shouldn't be upset because he lost. On the other hand, those who are there for their team, should have better chances over those who aren't there for their team.
Now, I don't see a problem in changing how scratches work, it's just the way you are presenting it this problem as a No.1 priority, and it's far from that.

I have experienced almost the same thing, but is not PPM's fault, is all mine, since I didn't check regularly to plan my matches/games well.
