Proposing a thread to talk generic stuff where people from any division can talk to just about anything.
Not sure why but im surprised there were several unsold d1 slots. Surprised as some teams got invites to spend only 25 credits.
Likewise in Canada. It was popular in handball. I think many people will be attempting to start at the bottom, will make for an interesting dynamic. I know >5000 credits were spent in both SVK and CZE I.1 leagues between the 32 teams.
but even if started from bottom not many used the 50% discount in USA.

Just bizarre as if id chose to start low Id se the 10 credits to hand pick my lower division instead of letting ppm to pick for me. Granted, there are still plenty of time to use for lower divisions

I'll be hand picking mine and supplying a 50% discount to a close friend (other conference mind you!). Based on how PPM will slot people into "highest" and "lowest" slots I want to find one where the "don't cares" get slotted.
dont care ... very likely after they fill the ones that want to star higher.

To be honest, most of the invites i sent were to friends that played around 100 to 300 games to get people motivated. Although i though i invited you.

That's why I'm just letting the system pick for me. I cant shake the feeling that the people who try to use the auction to gain an advantage are gonna get screwed somehow.

You mean like handball for me!? I signed up for II.3 and had a buddy do the same. The plan was for both of us to promote after the first season to I.1. What actually happened: everyone saw me sign up and II.3 became I.2 - more competitive than I.1. We both did eventually promote, it just wasn't as soon as expected.
Yep. Exactly like that. I dont care I end up in a hard or easy division. I'd just rather not try pay $$$ to pick something and end up with something else.
i keep wondering how this is going to work. There was a PPM thing 3 days ago that said, "You should be able to see a message in your basketball account asking you whether you want to start in the highest possible league, lowest possible league or whether it doesn't matter to you."
...but I have yet to get anything. No message, no email, no notification. I wonder when one thing is promised and something else is delivered...or something is inaccurately communicated...or someone has coffee instead of donuts...

there is a banner that sometimes show the option.
Im more concerned is that they will release an alpha version of the game since we're on "beta" but some features are not even live yet.
