Ha! I was right. The subs were good enough to control the play, but the offense was non-existent. 0-0 tie with 11 of my 13 shots going wide. Neither forward could hit the net. The only player who could was the RM with his 16 shot

An unexpected win today but no move up the standings. Much closer in terms of points now though and my team is playing better so I'm optimistic. Saving all that energy early in the season perhaps was a good idea.
I played on high but it was all my back ups in there as I'm sure you played back ups too. I thought it was over once you scored though.
Well I'm out of the Champions League already, hope the rest of you did better than I did.
Sorry to hear that. I got a draw today so I'm though to the next round in Champions League. It also looks like 2 of the 3 teams in the CWC move on as well.

heh heh...my team keeps looking like it might start playing well and then they tank for 2-3 games in a row.
Yea my team is doing the same thing lol. Everytime I get out of the relegation zone I lose 2-3 in a row and go right back in.
Yeah. My team looks amazing sometimes and then can't hit the net at all for a week or two. Same thing happened last season except the crappy play was all in the one horrible, painful, exhausting month instead of spread out throughout the season. I don't know what to do about it, so I just keep plugging along hoping more good than bad keeps happening.

I was doing well for a few weeks, but the last couple of games or so have been bad. I'm pretty sure that it is because of match suspensions and one of my defenders being out with an injury.
My starting goalie is out two weeks and I'm now screwed. FAIL!
