The ups and downs of the first season
Hello friends, Today the first official season in beta version of hockey was concluded by the seasonal calculation. Overall the impressions are positive apart from a little problem at the beginning and at the end. The main target of the basic testing was achieved and we even managed to build up a stable community of users with about 5000 managers logging in daily. However some problems did occur. Maybe you have already noticed it, but in the last 2 days the game calculation was much slower. Especially the lower leagues were finished late. It can be seen by the slow league standings updating. The reason is, that we have more registered hockey teams now and especially in the recent days there were many newbies. There is also another problem. As you know, nothing is perfect and there were and always will be some problems and drawbacks. Hi friends, The first and very hectic day of Pre-Beta is now history. How did it go? As many of you have witnessed, our server collapsed right at the beginning (the reason was that 450 poeple within 5 seconds clicked to create a team, which is a rather difficult process to calculate, and the server couldn't cope with it), which caused a few problems, but eventually the team creation process got going nicely and until yesterday it was going smoothly. A shame about that initial collapse. A number of teams got corrupted because the team creation was interrupted in the middle of the process....

Hello friends, I would like to give you at least some basic information about the Pre-Beta testing phase. It should be remembered that it is only a testing mode. Time is accelerated 4 times and many features are not yet done or tuned up. Therefore we ask everybody for patience. Hi friends Welcome to the hockey account of the PowerPlay Manager. We are very happy that after more than one and half year of development, we can allow the first managers to play the game. The fact is that this is not even the PRE Beta (which will follow soon and there will be total restart of the teams before it), but many of you will already have fun to play it.
