4 games in and I still haven't scored a goal. I knew this season would be harder but this is ridiculous.
wow, we are in the same hockey league & soccer league. That is surprising.
Well I'm pretty sure I'm going to go from champ to last place this season and get relegated. Still haven't scored a freaking goal this season.
The mysteries of this silly game. Unlike hockey... there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to soccer yet. Whatever you were doing right last season... you're doing terribly wrong this season???
I thought you were going to breakthrough today. Almost everyone is playing on Normal or High, so I've been matching them. Today I replaced 7-8 starters to try to conserve energy, including the entire defense. I expected a tie at best.
That's just it though I'm not doing anything different this season than I did last season. I could understand it if I was changing players around or drastically changing tactics or something but I'm not. I had 2 guys last season in the top 10 in goals scored and I can't buy a goal this season.
I had a streak like that last season. I was getting shutout by everyone- NoNs, newbs & inactives. Nothing I did seemed to matter. And it lasted about a month! I think I was shutout 16 times in 33 or 34 games. That's obscene. Hopefully your funk doesn't last as long.
Yea I had a streak like this at the beginning of the last season too but it was only like 4 games and then I went on a tear and couldn't lose. I seriously doubt that will happen this season though 
Patience, my friend... Soon those who work with their teams should have an edge over those who just "exist" here. The first one or two seasons are sometimes pretty unnerving because you lose with teams without any real guidance... but it'll get better, I promise...
I just "exist" here right now. I don't really work with my players. I just try to improve my facilities so that I get better players in the next youth pull. Looking for those universal players so I can get as much flexibility as possible in terms of setting up the formation.
Yes, I'm just concentrating on facilities and training while I grow through the SA. Once my facilities are where I believe they should be I will fill in the gaps in my roster through the market. Patience and planning are key at this stage.
Oh i'm not leaving or anything it's just frustrating to win the top league last season and now be in the bottom of it this season with no rhyme or reason why. I'll keep plugging away and upgrading my facilities and soon enough I'll be back on top. Just need that first goal.
You have to keep in mind your league got seven new teams this season which are all about as good as the top two I.1 teams from the first season, so your competition is much harder. It's going to happen again next season when the good teams that started in the III leagues move up as well. That's the danger of starting in the I.1 league - if you don't get a great team + great pulls, the people who do and move up will give you a rough 2nd and 3rd season.
