Those should be the main contenders, along with the teams that demote, especially since they probably have the best facilities as well. However, the teams with 70 OR, if they remain within 10 OR of the top teams after energy is reset, and if they make a few good acquisitions, could become contenders.
I'm shooting for a 3rd or 4th place finish. I wouldn't complain if I won the league, of course, but I'm trying to take baby steps here.

Building triples would probably be the best course of action. The added revenue and higher media sponsor would make things easier for you in the long run.

You never know with acquisitions. But I expect the top teams to be around 90 OR after the reset, not 80. Wouldn't you? I think your preseason calculations put several teams above 80 to begin the season this year. I'd expect those to continue to climb steadily.
Anyway, probably a 4-5 team group for the very top, with another 3-4 team group right on their heels. Top 10 will be very competitive.

The prospects that I have are probably somewhat better, so I'll pass, but thank you for posting the qualities.
I actually almost made a bid on Garfield when you put him on the market, but I decided that he is too comparable too or not much better than Archer on my team.
Yeah, I thought he was a mediocre prospect at best. But damn, I at least thought someone would buy him for 10K but apparently the market today was something of a "market bottom". I noticed 1000 overall players going for less than ten million.

I just sold an 800 OR 23 year old forward for $17 million and an 800 OR 19 year old right midfielder for $12 million.
Yeah I saw that, but you did it before our sponsor money was given. There were just so many players on market yesterday around noon(eastern time for myself) that player prices were deflated. It was just a really weird situation...
