I'm just getting things together and getting a feel for what adjustments I need to make for the second half. Honestly, I didn't think I had a real shot to win so I don't want to spend valuable energy chasing only a slight chance at a win.
We had an interesting game Outsider626. I'm really confused at why my team couldn't convert on the 5-3 powerplay we had for about a minute in the second period, but instead scored a even strength goal about 10 minutes later. I especially liked how your first line left winger embarrassed my goalie in less than a minute of gameplay. All in all it was a very lucky win for my team.
I wouldn't call that luck. Our teams almost the same strength wise. Plus you got me on tactics. I knew you were going to use either defensive or breaking up of play. I just didn't guess correctly.
Honestly, I don't know... I think alot had to do with luck... The market has been very odd lately... everything seems to have inflated a very large amount. I did advertise him alot to get additional hits and notice. I hated to part with him but I just don't have the facilities to maximize him effectively.
i had a big sale last year of everyone on my team that was 2 or 3 /6. This was most of my 1st and 2nd lines but the way I see it, these guys were all groomed with much lower facilities levels then I have now. My team def dropped off a bit from last season but I am also saving a ton on salaries and getting the young guys some much needed experience. Something to consider I guess. You may need to get a few top players but maybe older (on the cheap) just so you can be sure to stay in D2 before trying this out though.
