It's not zero benefit, but it is significantly fewer points towards that national ranking than competitive matches. I didn't actually work it out, but Obryantj said above that a friendly is worth about 1/5 the points of a competitive match. I'd say this is something worth considering for the new manager.

We got 155 points for the draw against Macedonia.
Teams that won their games got around 450 to 550. So yeah, winning does count a lot.

8 friendly winning games would net us 3600 to 4400 points.
that would for example be more than the points we got on season 7 and a bit less than past season.

That would help us a lot to increase our rank.

and again, we'd likely win then all by using 1 stamina point only. its well worth imo.

I like what you're suggesting here, although I don't think we can expect D1 managers to just find these types of players and contact the managers. It probably needs a little bit of coordination...maybe the assistant NT manager could work on it? Something where the coordinator knows which D1 teams are interested in training these players, and then managers who pull a star of this caliber would contact the coordinator to tell them about him. Then the coordinator talks to the D1 managers to find a training home for the player.

a rough analysis of our next friendly games. I'd play low on all of them and possible medium against Canada because of rivalry.

4000 points for winning friendly is not something to not consider, specially when all it would cost us is about 1 energy point!!!

think about it .. i got a promising star and know my facilities are not fully developed. I need to develop facilities but need money for it. It would work all good for all parts involved including the US team.

I've seen a player on market. he was 20 year old i think with 95+ on all major and secondary. player was worthless cause it was low OR and 3/6. The team, if well informed, could have sold him for tons of money to a D1 team and helped developed his facilities. Instead, just wasted a top prospect.

scouting is the best 160% per day and I've got the most players from our nation and others already scouted,let me know...

My player, Gerhardt Krueger, has comparable qualities (95-94-72-97-99) to either of the side defenders on the national team and has had the best possible CL. At 21, he still improves as well or better than any of my younger players. If I had sold him to a good team during my second season (during the third season), even though he started with low OR due to my undeveloped sports academy, he might have become a quality defender for the national team. I probably missed out on a lot of money, though he's been my best player and improved my team's performance to some extent.

I've been focusing on my league, but I can contribute scouting of 118% and start to focus more on candidates for the national team.
