PPM project advances by leaps and bounds and especially since the summer launch of Pre-beta version it is evident even to the "common" managers. We have a very tough weekend behind us but the good news is, that we managed to successfully move to the new server in Great Britain. As a result we have a better server now, which has much better parameters than the previous one and we believe, that we still have something in reserve regarding the current number of online managers. We shall see how this influences the live broadcast but we are very optimistic. There were also some complications caused by the move, which meant that a lot of managers could not log into their accounts but everything should be fine by now.

Hello friends, As I have mentioned in the previous news, PowerPlay Manager is moving to a new server. Therefore the game will have to be shut down for a few hours by our estimates. The whole process starts on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:30pm CET. Due to the assignment of new IP addresses, everybody will have to wait until the provider updates them. If you see a page announcing technical maintenance and server changing, it means that this has not been done yet. I want to inform you, that on saturday 18th October 2008, at 18 00 we will have first official PowerPlay Manager meeting in Bratislava, Slovakia. it will be in "Hokejka" pub and all managers are very welcome. During the last 10 days we have continued in optimizing the server, which has been more or less successful and we managed to lighten the load on the server and make the calculations much less demanding. Hello friends, Today the first official season in beta version of hockey was concluded by the seasonal calculation. Overall the impressions are positive apart from a little problem at the beginning and at the end. The main target of the basic testing was achieved and we even managed to build up a stable community of users with about 5000 managers logging in daily. However some problems did occur. Maybe you have already noticed it, but in the last 2 days the game calculation was much slower. Especially the lower leagues were finished late. It can be seen by the slow league standings updating. The reason is, that we have more registered hockey teams now and especially in the recent days there were many newbies. There is also another problem. Hello friends, The PowerPlay Manager project has successfully completed the Pre-Beta stage and has now been upgraded to the Beta version, where hockey is available without restrictions to all the managers. The aim of

new teams will enter already running leagues. Until now they were assigned to new leagues, where all the games were played in the following calculation.
added: when sending a player to the market or after selling him, the transfer fee is displayed
added: a green dot is displayed next to the teams that are currently online
added: if you are in the TOP 500 according to the overall team rating, your team and rank will be displayed under the top...
