Tárgy: 2016 NHL Playoff Predictions

Should have never went to OT... TB squandered too many odd man rushes in the third.

And...with two shutouts in a row...San Jose will be going to play for the Stanley Cup.

I was impressed! SharksPens jeez I cant wait.

OH man it feels good watching the sharks taking it to the blues. There are a few thing I am noticing and I wonder if anyone sees these things in these series.

1. Fatigue: The blues have played two 7 game series and heavily used their top six and top 4. a lot of them look gassed and taking sloppy penalties or plays and unable to use their skill to gain an advantage. While the sharks have played 12 games almost the same number they nearly a week off between L.A. and Nashville and the team is a 4 line team with Joe Thornton laying 18:37 tonight and Tommy Wingels playing 11:02. Huge to have juice at this late stage of the playoffs.

2. Styles: Style wish the Blues a hard hitting, defensive team that relies on good goaltending and timely scoring. The only problem is the sharks have beaten a team like that in the Kings and while the blues are a deeper team then L.A. the sharks are equipped to handle a team like the blues. The stars and their high powered offensive ability would be a challenge.

3. Playing the game: This is the most obvious but I feel is the biggest reason why it is 2-1 sharks. The sharks players top to bottom are just outplaying Saint Louis. The goalie battle is tipping in SJ favor, the defense is stronger, and the offense is scoring more.

Now the series isn't over and I do not want to underestimate what the blues can do(I freely admit I underestimated Nashville). So we need to see how game 4 goes. The blues have their backs to the wall and we need to see if they can fight back.

san jose has been stronger on their sticks blues got in the habit of lifting and slashing sticks againts dallas and did not hit much and its just not happening in this series so far they need to play the bodies not the sticks and stand up at blueline or theyl be playing golf next week

And, remember, I called the Sharks to go all the way from the beginning. And, I agree the series is not over. But, I don't think it will go 7 games. Max 6.

(And, it you check my Facebook feed back in September or October (I think) I said the same thing.)

Of course, I screwed up almost every other bracket so far. But, I got San Jose right for the Cup battle.

Good points but I must say you should enjoy it now. Because in the Cup it aint gonna be so easy. I dare say your heart will be broken.

I am a sharks fan your used to the heartbreak so when they do well your happy.

Amen. I have been heartbroken every year since 08-09. I do think it will be PensSharks but as people said earlier. Lets not get ahead of our selves. If they both go up 2 games I think its a done deal.

My objectivity goes right out the window when it comes to the Pens. I'm sure all of you can vouch for that. lol

heartbreak.... ha how many Stanley cups does your team have? My team has been disappointing me since 1991. and let's not get started on the blues and what they go through.

My goodness the pens look out of gas. The Lighting is just kicking ass right now. best of three.
