In hockey it makes sense to play on low intensity all year to save energy for the playoffs. In soccer there are no playoffs. If you play normal intensity all year the energy cost is 42 games @ ,08 = 3,36. If you play at low the cost is 42 games @ ,02 = .84. Difference is 2.5 over the year. Does not make sense to me to play low. I assume you play all exhibition games at low. My personal experience in soccer is that playing on low affects the game outcome more.
Actually in league games the low is 0.08 (3.36) and normal is 0.4 (16.8) which results in a difference of 13.44 energy after a whole season. The numbers you looked at were for friendlies.
Thanks - better rethink my strategy. Not as smart as I think I am. Probably only as smart as my wife thinks I am!
Haha. Well I'm playing normal importance. My reasoning: 1) you'll lose games on low this early on as teams are so well balanced and we don't fully understand tactics
2) Players are weak now and SA pulls will likely slide into the lineup
3) OTR is too important early on and winning is key

I have been playing all my games on low. Time to try one out on normal and see how my guys do. I have only let in 2 goals so far league wise, but have only scored 5. So 2 wins, the rest have been draws. So lets go go go normal!
I have played normal on my last 5 league games. Won all five. Will continue. Top it off with 3072 spectators today!
Wow! How do people draw so many spectators? That is crazy! My stadium doesn't even hold that many. I've never even had that many in hockey!
When we were in Beta I experimented with seating. Seems to be if you build it they will come. Like in Field of Dreams. You only get $100 per ticket. To be like hockey you have to sell 4x as many tickets to match the revenue. Only get $850K a week from sponsors. I spent a million plus upfront on my stadium. This week I will get $500K+ in ticket revenue. Pays for itself fast. Currently I have 4000 seats. I can add 1600 for $640K but want to do some facility upgrades first.
