Partly. I did have a cunning plan to to steal a win or draw but it was as cunning as Baldrick's.

LOL cunning and low importance don't work well together.

I can't begin to describe how disappointing last night's loss to Kazakhstan was. In a very tough group, this was the one game in the entire schedule I felt we should win, at home against the only other team we are on a par with skill wise. There are other games we can win and, since my goal is to qualify for the finals, we need to win quite a few to be in with a chance so I do have strategies to win other games but this should have been one of them.

We started out well taking the lead twice in the first half but Kazakhstan struck back each time so we went to the break even. They then scored early in the second half and neither side found the back of the net after that.

We had a slight possession advantage playing 4-4-2 to their 4-3-3 but their forwards produced twice as many shots on target as we did and that was the crucial advantage in the end.

Our next game is away against Venezuela, who sit between our last two opponents skill-wise. They were unlucky not to beat USA last night, leading 1-0 till the 80th minute when they had a player sent off and conceded two goals in those final minutes.

Tactically, they're more unpredictable than our first two opponents but they do have a weakness so we'll have to see if we can exploit it and steal back some points.

Great to see a couple of top quality pulls from sports academy for TrueBlue & Crico this last couple of weeks or so - this bodes well!
Branden Poulton 500+OR and John Bussell 475OR!

All I have to offer to this mix is a 360OR young goalie.. another Ace! Ace McGrath

Poulton's a goalie as well so McGrath will have stiff competition. Bussell's a very promising centre defender

500+ OR pull. wow. Never even had something close to that in either hockey or soccer.

I dont know how you're doing on central defenders besides Bussell, but ive just had a very promising pull. I havnt scouted him yet, however hes unscouted qualities look to be very good.Hunter Hawks

Neither had I til him.

Sadly, he's a goalie, and I already have a solid goalie prospect in Ace Keast. Difficult choices lay ahead.

FYI There are quite a few good 15yo central defenders. Jai Moody from Rudderz, Nathan Cullinane and Jackson O´Dwyer from Trueblue are all ahead of Bussell skill wise at the moment, as is Jordan Cox from the Terriers although he's actually a wing defender. Abe Doherty from Beta's and Dylan Barnsley from Atlantic are also promising wing defenders.

As I said manz times before, I'm more than to give him some experience..loan will do
btw: I know, I guess, by pulling u giving a best of hopes for others in our top league to pull quality players.. Ryan already DID beat u once and he brought us a hope!
eventually, we will catch up!
FYI: I really would love to have ur issues - whether I sell/keep top junior prospect..

hahahah it's quite funny really. I've been playing this game since it's very inception, and have been on the other site (H.A) since 2008 and this is the first time in all those years that i've actually had "too many" prospects of the same position, in either sport.

I'm going to give Poulton til the end of this season and see how he trains up. Chances are, either he or Keast will be on the market early next season / this off season.

I know, it takes time before things get easier, I know very well..
..early next season sounds good to me, may be a quality back up
