No, I mean how do you pick a player to scout?

I've tried dragging and dropping and looking for a button to press. Or was whatever it is one uses to scout gone because it was the last day?

Probably the reason. There's a button to scout each player, but you have to scout players from day 1, you can't go back in the past if you missed a day (or more).

Well, you can, but only on the last day by using instant scout. But, for all intensive purposes, you're correct.

In game reports, there's a number in brackets for shots on goal and shots on target. For example, my last game got a 4 (2) and 12 (8) respectively, while my opponent got a 2 (0) and 5 (2). What do the numbers in the brackets mean?

I set a substitution for my last game where I would have two players enter the game at the 75th minute if the game was tied up to if I was losing by 3. Lo and behold, I blew a 2-0 lead, with the tying goal scored in the 67th minute. So when the 75th minute came and went and there were no subs, I was confused. The fact that I then gave up the winning goal in the 90th minute and this is a team I'm chasing for hopefully 2nd in my division this season (I'm currently 3rd)...well, lets just say I'm not happy.

Sorry to hear that season is still long though, and your opponent was tough. You'll have better days. I drew vs. an inactive team at home on last Tuesday (shame on me), so shit can always happen.

Yup. Still bothers me, but at least I still managed to finish 2nd, so didn't really factor into anything, even though it would have been cool to be the only team to beat them last season.

Anyway, new question: for free agents, do they enter that stage if they're past the 14 days left on their contracts when they turn the given age eg: if a player's contract runs out on day 2-13 in a given season, does he go on the market that day (or even day 99-111 from the season before) or will I have him for that season til day 99-111 of the season he turned 26? I guess this pertains to all sports, too.

Your post is confusing but I think what you want to know is:

Players are on the market as RFAs from 14 days left until 7 days left when they are 26 years old.

He's asking if the RFA hits if the player turns 26 during the 14 to 7 days period. As players gain a year of age at the start of the new season, if the contract ends during the first 13 days of the new season, the player turned 26 after the normal RFA trigger.

From personnal experience, I say no, at least for the last 7 days of the contract. I have a player who turned 26 yo 2 days before his contract ended, and he didn't become a RFA until the following season, just prior to turning 27.
From reading the rules, I think the RFA clause checks the age on the 14th day before the contract ends, and no more afterwards.

I think it is on the contract they sign when they are 25. Which means they will be RFA at that date + 112 - 14 days. There may be an exception if the contract is in the first two weeks... players can't be RFA until 26.
