I'm in, gotta defend that title!
I haven't followed the labor dispute much, last I heard they were back to talking to each other. Is there reason for optimism yet?

I think the limit for this years league should be 12.. if we can get 12. We'll drop it down to 10 or 8 as needed. We can discuss which site to form the league on later. My top 2 choices would be ESPN.com or NFL.com
As any of you who played last year know, I've sent out messages to last years managers to start this. Let's do a rolling signup list. Copy/paste the list and ad your name to it. I'll start by adding in the people who have already confirmed with me

wuwu slacklar great to hear it! Well, nothing is set yet but things do seem to be shaping up. Basically their backs are to the wall and if they don't get it resolved soon they'll start losing preseason money. Money! That's the best motivator lol
A good sign things are getting close tho is the lawyers on the players side switched their pay from being a % of recovery in the lawsuits to a flat rate. That says to me they're ready to stop pushing the Brees case to court and actually work to resolve things.

Looks like the initial we don't have to work out bliss has been replaced with the I aint getting paid hangover.
The lawyer thing might also be them not being too confident they'll win the suit so try to switch payment plans to at least get some money out of it. Either way, it's reason for cautious optimism.
Just so long as Norman Tugwater doesn't come after me.

Anyone have any opinions on what site we should make the league?

I don't have any problems with NFL.com, what are the pros/cons to NFL.com vs ESPN?
Both are good. Better than what I've seen from other sites but then again any of the other sites could have done a revamp of their system.
What I like more about ESPN is simply the format and function of the pages. It just seems to be a better put together site. They also have much better life game day system if you use that too. NFL.com got too carried away with their embedding of clips imo and it made it run slower and more "clunky". That could likely change for this season tho
The downside is I think NFL.com has better comments and features regarding the player which is likely a huge help to our less familiar player (who's names I shouldn't mention, right Popaji?)
I'm fine with either site and will likely be in leagues on both.

If you like the way their system works I'd be willing to try it for a change. Once we get a feeling for when things will start we can figure out where to have the game this year.
