At the same time, I think that only the National Team GM's should have access to that data. Because while we're all on the same team when it comes to International events, we are potentially enemies in the League.

I would prefer not to put scouting information on my players in a public forum so as to give an advantage to my opponents. But maybe I'm just overly paranoid or protective.

I agree it should only be accessible to the National Team GM, but at the same time, i'm not too worried about other people seeing my player atties.

i keep puuting the ratings of my goalie, Tierrney. But he ain't doing to well during the season.

I dont have the time to answer right now, today is back to school time ... but at the same time it will give the time to think about what you all said, i'm not selfish like some of you seem to think and i love to have some feedback. Some of you may think i did not listen to them when they PM me, especially the one i did not answer in the first 3-4 day after the election, but i got like 25-30 PM a day and did not have the time to answer them all. I don't know anyone who as said you are selfish, in fact YinCheuk even said the players you chose from your own team to be Natl players were "great builds".

I do believe the Stats, Ratio related to stats, and experience needed to be a National Team player is really the discretion of the National Team Manager deadrick.
Everyone can have opinions as to player ratios, game tactics etc. but it up to the Natl Manager for this squad.

That being said, it seems alot of the frustration stems from lack of results + lack of communication. I believe that it should be a responsibility of the Natl team manager to set out criteria for players min levels and stat ratios. I understand that there is added work being the Natl Manager in answering PMs, but a lot of managers do not want to post publicly their player stats and qualities, and you asked to be Natl Manager so it is incumbent that you reply. Personally I have never received a reply to any PM I sent you.

Perhaps if you were to post the ratios you require along with minimum levels of stats, qualities, exp etc., it would cut down on the PMs and more managers would understand your National Player philosophy and we are crating the talent pool so we need that info. The tactics line combos should be kept private to the Natl manager and whomever they trust to confer with and not for public consumption.

I don't mean this as anything but a hopefully helpful suggestion and not a complaint or attack in anyway.

I am sure deadrick can get the ship righted, we just need to get everyone rowing in the same direction first.

While it can look like he is selfish, no one really knows except him, but that doesn't really matter right now.

He picked players really fast out of the gate, when we could have taken at least a few days, I agree. He has not posted what he wants in the way of builds yet, no.

But that's all over behind us now. Deadrick, you seem willing to do what it takes right now, so lets help him.

I mean, the US has a better team than us, and less than half the General Managers. Lets use those last 15 spots in the line up, that can really change the team, and unless Deadrick got it completely wrong, which I don't think he did, we can still have a really good team.

Personally I don't like much of it either, but he gets the point. Now that we got that out of our systems, lets do this.

Deadrick, post guidelines for the player builds you are looking for... what makes a player look good to you. Obviously not just OR, so tell us.

Give some minimum values in related stats for each position.

Also offload some of this work onto Ariba, that's why he is your assistant.

I went through and looked at how many countries had chosen players and when most of them had 0, a few had under 5, we had 20+. Only one other team in the top 16 had that many players chosen, and half of them were his own.

Just as noob that has read alot a fair bit about the game. I would just like to put forth a suggestion.. I don't know all the rules so, I may be completely wrong.

What if we just had managers submit there top forward line with all scouting info. That way we would have instant chemistry.

We have a chance with 15 players to make our team alot stronger but deadrick will need help. With 15 players we can have 3 lines of players why don't we get the 3 best lines already together in a club team and roll with them?

deadrick - hang in there. I also found it interesting that you choose the players so quickly. However, it appears that the main criticism is lack of communication and poor results. Poor results, well, that happens when everything is new and EVERYONE is guessing at what works (or will work). Lack of communication, well, hard to dispute, so that seems to come up every time someone is not happy (fired from a job - lack of communication - broke up with girl/boy friend - lack of communication) - this seems like a catch all.
Anyway - hopefully this post was Canadian enough (ie: middle of the road enough) - but just a quick - I gots your back....

I can tell you that whatever i am doing is not working. I think my team is the highest ranked team in Canada and i am barely making the playoffs.

here come the minimum for team canada ! i'm gonna keep it simple, pm if if you got any player that is PA-SA-SA 80-50-40 with 45 shot and the player should have 5 less tec than agr maximum. you can send me your player if they are close to that. att-tech-pass for center, att-tech-agr for winger and def-pass-agr for defence. We dont need any goalie right now so send them only if they are ``oh my god i want this player to be my dad`` kind of awesome.

Very reasonable request. I'll have a guy like that the middle of next season! hehehe J/K Hope you find a few prospects. I'm presuming good bundle quality is prefered and high CL as well. But you can let us know. Thanks for the effort.

All I got are 2 goalies that meet those requirements (less the 45shot of course)
