Considering we'll face stronger teams in terms of OTS during WCH, I'm not sure playing offense or active forechecking is the best tactic. Why not going with a defensive or breaking up tactic, more suitable when you are the underdog?
Here's the thing. We have a great goalie. And great shooters. Being defensive will not exploit our two strengths. I get where you're coming from but look at my team in I.1 as an example. I have great shooting and great goaltending. So how am I in 9th with much stronger teams out there - especially since my Off and Def OTS is so weak. I have a good s% and sv%. Canada has the same potential since we've picked shooters who are as such.
I give up 33 shots a game and only get 25 on average yet I'm 18W 17L on the season. Not the easiest way to win that's for sure!

The players on the NT that have been assigned numbers are the frontrunners for selection to the WC squad. I think there is some room for debate, especially at RW, and RD.
