Over training of primary atty and not econdary attys may also be a factor. Stars and pucks are based on recognized primary plus chem and EXP. If you don't train secondary attys to 50% of primary you'll find stars stop[ increasing in my experience anyway
Say guys, how about left and right, side of play that is? If i put defender who likes left side more on right side, would he play worse? I actually did that already, but failed to see any particular effect.
Yes, he will play worse, but what I know, not much. I think so 25%.
What exactly do you guys mean by "mis-training" of your players?
I think he means training attributes far in excess or not enough. Or something like training shot on goalies.
Mis-training is letting your players get out of at least 2:1:1 spec.
2-1-1. LOL I did that and my players were crap. Have re-trained them all back to 4-3-2 and their skill hugely improved.
What is 4-3-2? Does it mean the primary attribute is twice as high as the last secondary? If so, what is the first secondary?

Basically 100%:75%:50% is the same as 4:3:2. What Opivy is basically saying is keep both secondary attys at atleast 50% of the primary atty with 2:1:1. These are basically ratios.
Just wondering, do all the lines get equal TOI? Or does Line 1 stan on more than Line 2, more than Line 3 etc?
Wish we could set that up as managers. As it is now I believe its equal ice time for each of the lines. Only by placing players on the powerplay and/or penalty kill can the get more time. Now whether that translates to more xp, i don't know.
One thing I've seen is PP time can be a negative IF you split players. ie taking guys from 2 or more lines to make a PP line. Seems in this case a 4th line gets more shots ect. I play my 2 PP lines intact as a result. Your 3rd line should be high quality as they are 1st on after every PP that does not score.
It looks for the most part that the lines split time evenly.
