Not 100% sure what you mean by rewards, but for top save percentage, your goalie needs to play atleast 1/3 of your total minutes. There is no minimum for skaters.
15 teams from Div I and Div II have no managers!! Now to the question, can you all redo the program that assigns teams? There is no reason that a new person should start in Div II. It has to be depressing to get your ass kicked 25 - 0 every game.
All new people should start in the lowest division possible. It is not fair to the person starting nor the people who have to play that team.

Surprisingly, we had just that scenario. Poor guy's still in the single digits in goals. He's gone, of course.
we are going to address this issue in the near future to avoid this problem. The first measures have already been taken recently
I've noticed that our new D III teams have been starting out with higher OR players from the start, which I think is a great step in encouraging people to stay.

As the overall quality of teams improve, the quality of starting teams needs to increase also, to give those new managers at least a good chance to start out ok.
