Hi guys

I know it may be too soon but believe me or not National teams or coming soon. Many mangers say that it will start on the 3rd season , some say it will be later. Anyway I am going to candidate for the Head coach position. I would like to say that I am open to everyone and if I'll make it, than you can ask me any questions or I would be thankful if you have me any advice,tips. I also need your help with the players. I if you have any player that could potencially make in the "large roster" than please make a screenshot of him and post the picture here or send it to me. My gmail is Wasupnerd@gmail.com . I'm also looking for assistant's. One main assistant and two "helpers". Basiclly your job would be to help me get the players scouted or to ask the mangers for a screen and put it in the database which I would share with you thru Google drive. I have some players already in the database from past and believe it or not it was very help-full. If I became the Head coach the assistant's would also help be build the best squad we can make. If you would like to become my assistant or helper don't hesitate and write your interest in this discussion or send me a mesege. I have partially asked some managers to make our national team some jerseys, flags etc. even if I did not get elected I would donate this to the team.

At last I am sorry for my miss-spelling and some nonsense sentences I am still (after 2 1/2 year ) getting used to my new language.

Good luck to you. It should help you a lot that you've started to take initiative right now. In addition, the fact that many managers do not seem interested in the national team positions or are otherwise already focusing on a national team in another sport should also help. I remember that you had played the game in a different country before switching to the United States - you might want to emphasize this since having low manager experience could otherwise be detrimental to your bid.

It would help a lot if you could start or have started scouting (and organizing scouting by allocating divisions or age groups to helpers) now. Towards this end, the best scout and HRE possible would help a lot (scouts are generally a waste of money once you have your own team scouted but not if you are a national team manager). Active players are generally cooperative if you ask them for scouting information about specific players. Don't forget to check transfer histories - this allows you to find all of the good players playing for foreign teams (except for the ones that were so bad that they were fired but later picked up off of the market).

Younger players will probably be better, and there probably won't be many older players who can be effective, so you can probably get through that group pretty fast. Even so, I wouldn't necessarily neglect older players with who might have good experience, OR, CL, training facilities, regeneration facilities, and effective quality. Otherwise it would be most efficient to focus on 16 year olds, though the 15 year olds will probably (but not necessarily since the rate of sports academy growth should slow down) be better players

Later on, you can probably ignore players from teams with bad training facilities or sports academies (which might end up corresponding to being in a better league), but at this point, anyone could have and train promising players. I find that players with good OR tend to come from teams with better facilities or tend to have better qualities (I don't put too much worth in AVQ since a player with an AVQ of 65% could have a better EQ than a player with an AVQ of 80% if the good qualities are in the right areas; in addition, scouts seem horrible at predicting AVQ at this point). Of course, OR can be misleading at this point since there is a small difference between the best and next tier of players, and a player with less OR could be better in the right areas. In hockey, I find that the best players worth choosing tend to have EQ's of at least 80% (other things equal); the threshold might be lower for handball at this point.

You should probably start trying to figure out who you plan to choose tactics if you haven't already. Determining the ideal training ratio would also be helpful. Personally, I suspect that it would be useful to have defensive specialists and offensive specialists in handball once it becomes to train players more. It would help if you could develop a preliminary ranking of prospects at each position. You can develop OR or facility requirements once you have a better idea of the prospect pool (but it would probably not be a good idea to exclude consideration of potential prospects at this point).

I am building my HRE as fast as possible and will probably default to scouting prospective memebers of the national team after I am done. I probably won't get around to it until about mid-season or so. I prefer to communicate by PPM message.

These suggestions come from managing the U18 National Hockey Team for 2-3 seasons.

Thank you for this national team guide As you said it wouldnt be good to limit players based their AvQ. I have about 50 players on my list that potencially fullfill my expctations which is:

-Ať least 200 OR ( there could be a exception if the AvQ is above 90% and the players OR was rapidly growing)

-Ať least 60% AvQ

- TF,RF ať least Level 5 ( this number will change with time ) (also exceptions will be possible )

- Active manager( the manager has to be Active otherwise the player will probbably be trained poorly) ( also it would be great if the manager shared the players info with us)

These are probably good prerequisites for prioritizing who to scout.

You might want to have different OR requirements (which evolve over the course of the season) for different age groups eventually. Perhaps it might be good to assume that the average player will improve by 50 OR or so at this point, so that a 190 OR 15 year old might have as much potential as a 240 OR 16 year old. 200 OR could probably be a good cutoff for players over 16, though it may or may not be worth considering the vast majority of them.

On the U18 team, I have different OR requirements for different age groups. I also consider players who are up to 50 OR (for hockey in season 15) below where they would need to be to be likely to make the team in the future, since some players may have more OR in areas that don't matter (in addition, the average OR of the best players has tended to be higher or lower depending on the position). I don't know how many players there are around 250 OR yet, but 200 OR might be a little high (at least for 15 year olds) for a cutoff (but useful for prioritizing who to scout). I don't think anyone has 90% AVQ at this point (80% might even be uncommon).

Here is a useful article on calculating effective quality, which is more useful and less misleading than average quality glanvalleyeaglets.wordpre... . In hockey, I consider players who have AVQ as low as 65% (but only take the players if they have about 80% EQ). 60% AVQ may or may not be high at this point for handball (it depends on what you might have found through scouting so far). In addition, the ideal cutoff will depend on what ratios turn out to be most effective and used by managers.

Level 5 seems like a good cutoff since it should be pretty easy to have a level 5 training facility at this point in the game (but teams below the cutoff could easily catch up at this point). Perhaps the level of the top facilities minus 3 or so might be an effective cutoff.

Active managers probably would have better prospects. With that said, I've found gems in the transfer histories of dead teams (granted that they were elite teams from the top leagues that dropped out of the game) and have saved a few good players from managers who have quit the game. There is plenty of time to fix a player who is trained poorly as long as the current or new manager is cooperative.

Also, a team with horrible facilities might have sold a very good player to a team with sufficient facilities.

So I started looking for players. I have only went thru 1st league and I already have about 30 players that went thru my creteria.

I was thinking about putting him on the list. I might put him on my watch list

problem is that when the NT is available, most teams will have academy levels 10+ and thus most likely better players than the current ones. With that said, very few from season 1 and 2 will be in the list.

Cummings will likely be too old for the NT. I think the potential players for NT are the ones currently at OR 250 or higher.
