I watched the whole game!! It was a nail-biter!! Several times, I thought we were toast. This win will help immensely, as it could allow us to rest some of the starters more than I thought. They should all have 100% chemistry after this game, so we can work on bringing the backup's chemistry up over 90%.
A win or a close loss to Chile in the final qualification game, will leave us in first place, which should mean more home games in the next round.
All starters are at 100% chem. , and all back-ups are at 90%+. All team members still have at least 94% energy. This may be the best shape we have been in going into the next round. Let's hope the match-ups are good.

Great job. Thanks for taking time to post this.
Our final round grouping is:

Poland.........150..........4
Lithuania......147..........8
Canada.........146.........11
France.........146.........15
Argentina......147.........19

We need to advance while using a minimum of energy.

Canada...96
France...99
Poor shooting in the first quarter left us 4 points short of a win that would have made the road easier.
Can't afford to lose to Argentina tomorrow as both they and Turkey had upset wins today.

So, what is the plan for the next season about the managers of the U19 and the U17 teams? I'm open to take a spot if nobody wants one.
Hope canucks357 cam be talked into U19 with me as his assistant again. ???
Despite great preparation, things are suddenly tough as we lose our best centre, Baldwin, fo today's game . After losing two games we could have won, we are faced with almost having to win out to advance. The best laid plans.....
OMG!!!!!
A HUGE win over Poland 109-102 in the overtime!!!
And without Baldwin!
A great effort to tie late, force overtime, and then win!!

What a finish in group 2 of the senior final round!!!
After losing to Lithuania on Tuesday, we were in last place with 5 points, one behind Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, and France who all had 6 points. I could hear the fat lady wrming up in the wings. Then, Poland and France lost today, and we beat Turkey. This left the bottom four teams all tied with 7 points. We qualified fourth based on a GAvg that was helped immensely by the fact we had the best offensive total in the group.
Tomorrow's game is against the Czech team that has not lost a game and has played mostly on L or VL.

As expected, we were pummelled by the #3 world ranked Czech team 104-60. At least we garnered enough respect that they started on "high" instead of their customary "low". Our final 16 showing should not seriously affect our #11 world ranking.
Thanks to all for your continued support of the national teams.
Now to get ready for next season!

I put my candidacy for U19, assuming xSakic19x still want to manage U17 and because I like to be beaten by Canucks357 and Bobby Jay Seriously, xSakic19x are you going to go for U17 as I would prefer to have a Canadian manager taking the team?
yeah I could. I was waiting to see if someone else wants it.
Great, there is not a lot of managers on basketball forums those days. And for U17 since you need to scout a lot of players, follow draft and team's SA pkayers this is not an easy job without preparation. At this point, I doubt anyone will show up, but I could be surprised.
