Also... as experience is starting to matter, remember that the experience % effect is essentially a 0.002 multiplier.
So for players like stacey wells and lloyd russ, who both have 135 exp... their stats are essentially 135 x 0.002 = 0.27 or 27% higher than what you see.
For Stacey wells, that means that his true OR is more like 2187 x 1.27 = 2777. For Lloyd Russ it means his true OR is more like 2047 x 1.27 = 2600.
These guys will likely remain solid options (or arguably better options) than their younger counterparts with substantially lower experience.
That's why i say that Copeland isn't really a comparable goalie to Russ, even though his OR is pretty good and he's a bit younger. Due to Copeland's lower experience and AQ, his true OR will likely never eclipse Russ's. Right now Copeland has a true OR of around 2082 (about 500 OR less than Russ).

Just resurrecting this thread! I like for the arenas to be of current teams, so capsaicin , congrats as your arena is now the home of the US senior NT!
Started out with a nice 25-23 win in qualifiers yesterday. I played on high, but Belgium played on very high, so we did well I think. After failing to qualify for the final tournament last season, USA are on their way, hopefully!
New GM for the Senior Team. Ready to add players to make this team better and get to the Round of 16.
Hey mike, I'm happy to step aside after this season (it's just my first with the senior NT)--I'm quite busy these days!

Oops. Didn't see that this is the B-ball thred. Meant to put this in the B-ball thred. Sorry for the confusion.
We sit in second place in the qualifying standings, facing France, who is currently third in our group (only goal differential separates us currently). They are good, and match up well against us. I believe our advantage could lie in goaltending. In any case, I expect a good match today!
We are now 2-0 and atop our division in WC qualifying with today's 32-24 win over Turkey. I'm excited to see where we end up!
I am pleased to report with today's win over Bulgaria, the Senior NT is now 4-0 with 8 points in the standings. Normally, 8 or 9 points is required to qualify for the World Championships. One more win ought to seal us in there, and then I can experiment with other lineups.
The win today puts us at 5-1 with two matches left in qualifying. This pretty much cements us as a qualifier. Last season, 10 points was good enough to qualify in every group. Accordingly, I am considering resting our best players, since in the senior team, they usually have developed sufficient chemistry.
