Do we have to drop the aging players before you can add them to the higher levels? Or can you add them directly while they're "still on the youth national teams?" Guidance is appreciated...
I though they dropped off via system. What happened to your graduation class?
Oh. indeed... the graduating class was still there (on the team) as of yesterday. but now they have been removed from the team it looks like.
This season we are in the group of death for handball's world championship. LATVIA (5), BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA (10), UNITED KINGDOM (17), and DENMARK (31). We will be fighting it out for 3rd place using the line-up from last season. We have one good advantage this season, our call-ups from 2 seasons ago will max out on chemistry this year. Which will be needed in our up-hill battle to upset teams this season.

Jay Woodall
Jay Woodall leaves the team with 29 games played, 103 goals and 33 assists. Jay also appeared in 15 friendly matches.
We have 29 spots on the team and one open spot that will be reserved for adding a player due to any major teams retiring this season.
Any concerns on the lineup? Next season the cream of the crop will be released from the U21 team and the future will be built on that graduating class.

We have a tough game tomorrow. Our top G and Top Pivot are out. Never seen 2 injuries at the same time. Knock on wood we do not lose another. Losing the Pivot really hurts
Update on Team USA.
We have had a very tough opening this season. We have battled through key injuries during the whole campaign. So far we have lost our top pivot, top goalie and we are constantly dealing with injuries to our wingers. Only 2 games have we been able to field our starting lineup. But the team we build three seasons ago for this year has done very well. Our 2 way players have slotted in and got the job done.
We are currently sitting in 2nd place and have the unique opportunity to cheer on Bosnia and Herzegovina this weekend to beat or tie the United Kingdom. If this happens the last game of the season will not matter and we can rest a few starters against latvia. If the UK wins then it will come down to us getting a win or a tie or having a better GD which were sitting at +22 over UK.

Tomorrow we play Poland in game one of round 2. They breezed through the first round playing on low/very low. Going to be a fun week. Proud of the lads to making it to the second round.
Wowwwww. That game against Poland today was HUGE. That's possibly the biggest win the US National Team has had since the inception of Handball national team competition.
I would suspect they switch to a H/VH from here on out.
There's also the question of chemistry. Our's is probably much higher than their's is at this point, no?
