I have called the initial USA team. First call for World Cup will have 12 players. It will be reviewed during the week. The player being scouted may replace a back.

18 can be called for World Cup. The remaining 6 slots will be given by need or if we pull a top player (to fill the remaining 3 roster slots)

Our 7m shooter will be out, at least initially.

Kevin Hall Average quality is "only" 78% and unfortunately it is 98% goalie and 99% FiP making the other attributes pretty lower from what i expected. He would have been a great goalie because blocking is at high 90% and pass 75%.

He is still great for the OR and defensive Back but I will hold on the selection and wait more.

That's always rough... when amazing Qs are "wasted" on categories that you will absolutely never train (if he's trained as a goalie, the 99 FiP is worthless, and likewise with his 98 GOA if he's trained as a fieldplayer).

That said, even if his current OR says fieldplayer... I'd be really tempted to train him up as a goalie.

... But then, I'm partial to having really good goalies.

He could still play instead of Joshua Chase as defensive CB but not much difference

And if he chooses to train him as a goalie he will not be ready to play (as goalie) until next season and would "lose" 40 OR points

well I agree. Id make him a goalie. 99 goalie and 90 blocking are great specially when his pass (best out of spe and agr) is "only" 75 and shooting 63.

As goalie he wont make the USA team for sure. As back, he could specially since I have not decided on the defensive CB.

Lloyd Russ is 311 OR with 93% goalie, 94% blocking, 91% pas and 6/6 and is, currently, the player i am keeping an eye on and could add to the team if in the next few weeks we dont pull top quality 340+ players.

In a note, I calculated sum of ranking points from all groups and our group is by far the strongest one.

You still have pascale getting 40 and the Bill jack getting 20 in two games.

It should be reversed if you are wanting to use two goalies.

To answer your comment on not playing 100% its iffy. They are both good and I dont have pascale scouted to know any better. I still think the better goalie needs near 1005 of the reps for exp. Pascale will not become the goalie of the future of USA. Jack will and now possibly Kevin Hall but he is 5/6 but at least he is 15. Maybe it should be 80% Jack and 50% Hall.

this may have been because i was in hawaii and i may have forgot to change back. Currently, the roster is correct.

I agree that Pascale is not going forward as second goalie for next season.

I dont know if Kevin Hall will be trained as goalie. I know that Lloyd Russ , unless someone with same qualities and higher OR comes, will be the second one next season and potential to become 1st.

Contact the owner and find out what way Hall is going. Then you can make your choices.

Yeah, Pascale won't build up the same experience as Jack, either, since Jack is the clear #1 on my team and Pascale is 5/6 with slightly lesser qualities so likely won't ever catch up. I'm happy to have him on the NT as a backup this season, but I imagine you'll have a better option in the future.

In case you're interested, I thought I'd give you a heads up as to how I'm bringing Lloyd Russ along:

Russ has played in pretty much every game since I pulled him, and I'll begin leaning on him more and more as the season goes along.

I currently have him evenly splitting time with my existing starter Stone Larkin while I aim to secure my spot in the playoffs. I only need to win 9 more games against other managers to secure a spot (I'm counting my 4 games against the ghost teams as de-facto wins). If/When that happens, I'll switch to Russ exclusively and run him 60 minutes a game for the extra experience for the rest of the regular season. In the playoffs I'll likely go back to splitting him with Larkin for goalie "confidence" reasons.

I should also have a TF lvl 10 and Regen lvl 9 underway in 40 days or so.

Anyways... that's the current plan, man.
