Deffently on defense but on offense, it´s a hard choice cause his block is also very nice but wasting his offfensive skils seems wromg to me
Lol... I know. but honestly, I haven't trained many of my guys in too specialized a fashion yet.
I mean in a couple seasons, a guy i thought would be my best wing could end up being a pivot (or something like that). I've been training loosely on the Qs with the exception of goalies (who I train in a pretty rigid fashion now).
So if a player's best ability is PAS, I'll train PAS at 7, TEC at 5, and maybe SPD at 5 (if the SPD Q is also good).
Worst case, I have a good back that's very good on fast breaks, or a wing who knows how to pass. Unlike hockey, training in other skills isn't a complete loss, as the secondary skills are actually used in handball (admittedly to a much lessor degree than the main skills).
It's worked out well so far, because I can't ever anticipate what sort of players I might pull from the SA, and training this way has allowed me to shift guys around to different slots as needed. That way I can always have all of my best guys in my lineup and I don't have to worry about spending money on the market to fill a slot.

With the above said, I'll probably train both shooting and blocking for Carney, because both Qs are pretty darn good, and I don't have really any "shooters" except for one.
Plus, I've taken to running 3-2-1's more and more often (where players play both ways), and it's better to have all-around guys (players who can sort of shoot and sort of block) in that formation than focused ones.
This seems to work out pretty well since I train most of my pivots and backs a little bit more than the traditional 0.25 in speed.

I have withdrawn my support for myself and I am officially supporting Outsider. My reasons for this is as follows.
1. Want a seasoned vet with International experience running the team from the beginning.
2. Want someone with a known track-record on this site.
